I'm the director of marketing technology, I work at a workflow automation company.

For what projects/services did your company hire conexio, and what were your goals?

Our challenge is a lack of AEM expertise on site. We needed added Development resources, and Conexio was able to offer a group of Adobe certified developer to help accelerate the various marketing efforts we are working to accomplish.

How did you select conexio and what were the deciding factors?

Their long-term successful relationship with previous companies appealed to us. Conexio continues to grow in this expertise with Adobe solutions. It makes most sense for us to continue working together.

AEM development and various Adobe marketing solutions such as Adobe Analytics and Target.

It ranges from 8-15 people based on project milestones. They are technical leads, Web developers, and QA engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

• Expanded AEM exposure and traffic growth close to 25% in 16 months

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

On top of daily scrum and engineering discussions, we have collaborative project management where we have COO and Tech leads frequently touching base. They are super flexible to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Every resource is Adobe certified. And the CEO is one of the most approachable people who values your success as much as their company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have met all expectations and keeping up with the continuous growth in the company. One thing I would love to see is the company introduce more of their capabilities to us. We are not taking advantage of everything they can offer.

As President of a small but growing consulting company based in the US that specializes in Adobe Experience Manager, I had the opportunity to engage and work with Conexio resources in a staff augmentation capacity on multiple projects.

For what projects/services did your company hire conexio?

Conexio provided AEM developers and architects to work with us on projects to:

• migrate a major automotive company's website to AEM
• create a promotional website in AEM for a major beverage company
• provide AEM development support to integrate a manufacturing company's website with Adobe Analytics
• migrate a large outdoor retailer's website to AEM

What were your goals for this project?

We partnered with Conexio to provide skilled AEM resources who would work effectively with us and our clients' teams to implement AEM functionality using best practices, often with the pressure of aggressive deadlines and challenging clients.

How did you select this vendor?

I had established a prior relationship with Conexio leadership through discussions at conferences, etc. and knew what services and types of resources they could provide. Then I vetted their technical resources to confirm their level of AEM experience before working with them.

Describe the project in detail.

There were multiple projects, all related to AEM migrations or implementations for large, brand-name companies in the US .

What was the team composition?

Conexio provided 1-4 technical resources per project, including front- and back-end, full-stack AEM developers and architects, as well as analytics developers.

There was always a senior resource such as an architect/tech lead on each project, who had technical and PM oversight of any other Conexio resources working on the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the Conexio resources were brought onto projects in a staff augmentation capacity, they were not necessarily involved in the end-to-end scope of the project, and were not ultimately responsible for each project's outcome. However, they were very capable, completed the tasks as assigned to them, and positively impacted each project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between Conexio and other team members was fairly seamless. They are very familiar with the same collaboration and communication tools that we, and our clients, use.

For example, Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Slack, etc. The senior Conexio resource on each engagement generally did a good job of keeping track of his team's status and communicating effectively with myself or other team members as needed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

conexio really values building strong partnerships based on trust. They have skilled technical resources and a company-wide commitment to delivering excellent results. I highly recommend partnering with Conexio for nearshore development!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Some of Conexio's developers struggle a bit with English because it's not their first language. However, Conexio proactively takes steps to try to improved the English proficiency of their resources, and always provides a more senior resource who is proficient in English to act as a PM / liaison between their nearshore team and our (or our client's) US-based team.

As we grew our Adobe practice, we found it challenging to hire top talent with experience on large-scale Adobe implementations. Conexio's nearshore delivery model made them the ideal fit as a strategic partner. Their team members were knowledgeable experts and, more importantly, great to work with. They consistently went above and beyond.

What were your goals for this project?

Conexio assisted us with front- and backend development Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics configuration, Adobe Target integration, Adobe Launch setup and cross-browser/device testing.

Our primary goal for our partnership with Conexio was to not only find a partner that had these capabilities but find someone who could be an extension of our team. Conexio exceeded our expectations in all areas.

How did you select this vendor?

As we establishd our Adobe practice, grew quickly and needed to add team members, Conexio was recommended as potentially partner by a senior technical architect at Adobe who thought highly of their experience and expertise. We met with a range of US-based, nearshore and offshore partners before engaging Conexio.

Ultimately, we selected Conexio for their Adobe expertise -- being based nearshore in Uruguay, their affordable rates, and other considerations were added benefits.

Conexio assisted us with front- and backend development Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics configuration, Adobe Target integration, Adobe Launch setup and cross-browser/device testing.

Conexio's development team members and QA testers worked as embedded team members, attending daily standup, participating in sprint planning/review sessions, and filling technical leadership and project management roles.

What was the team composition?

We worked with Conexio over the course of several engagements. The team size and composition varied. A typical team for Adobe implementation would include a senior project manager, senior technical architect, several front-end and backend developers, and several QA testers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The results Conexio delivered exceeded our expectations time and again. I would highly recommend them.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Conexio typically assigned a senior project manager to engagements and worked as embedded team members using our collaboration tools (Slack, Confluence, Jira, GitHub, etc.).

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Conexio was great to work with in all aspects of our partnership.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None, I only wish we had partnered with Conexio sooner.
