I’m the director of a software development firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Conceptik?

We were looking for some additional resources to supplement our internal team for our software development projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve worked on a couple of different projects for us. In one instance, they built a video platform and CMS using Node.js and AWS infrastructure. In another project, they executed the frontend of an application built with React.

We’ve relied on them to build apps for TV platforms — like Xbox, Samsung, LG, Android, and Fire TV. Recently, their scope has expanded to cover design projects, in addition to development.

What is the team composition?

We work with two developers and a designer.

How did you come to work with Conceptik?

I met someone from their company at a conference. After having some discussions, we decided to give it a shot with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $80,000 ­– $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around July 2019, and it’s an ongoing engagement.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our developers frequently review their code and have been very happy with its quality. Feedback regarding their performance has been consistently positive across our developers, testers, and business analysts.

How did Conceptik perform from a project management standpoint?

We handle project management, but their communication has been very good. We use Slack and hold video meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’d highlight their attention to detail. Unlike other developers we’ve worked with, they’ve had no problem integrating into our team. They’re not afraid to point out flaws and use their expertise to help us succeed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so.

Generally speaking, when you work with any company, make sure to provide sufficient detail about the project at hand.

I’m the manager of an agency based in Varna, Bulgaria.

For what projects/services did your company hire Conceptik?

We didn’t employ an in-house mobile developer, so we hired Conceptik to build our mobile app.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an app that would attract teenagers and show them all the parties in the region.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We researched and had meetings with several development companies within the area. Conceptik met our requirements.

Describe the project in detail.

After we signed the contract, their team researched, made mockups, and designed a prototype. Conceptik designed and developed the application, along with the server side of the project. The app included chat functionalities.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, two mobile app developers, a backend developer, and designer.

We received positive feedback from our clients. They were impressed with the technology and design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had daily calls with the project manager. He kept us involved in during the development cycle. Conceptik was responsive and professional.
