I was working on a project, and I needed a company that could provide me with motion graphic support.

I hired The Compass Video to provide me with motion graphics work using Adobe After Effects. They also helped create some design templates.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The Compass Video delivered a quality product that I know I can use, trust, and rely on. I was able to get everything that I needed, and I will definitely work with The Compass Video again if an opportunity arises.

How did The Compass Video perform from a project management standpoint?

The Compass Video performed well in terms of project management. It was a very seamless process — they delivered earlier than expected and within budget. They were quick to implement any changes that I requested and provide me with the files that I needed afterward. They were also incredibly responsive. I always knew that I could reach out to them whenever I needed to.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Compass Video provided creative feedback whilst taking into account the things that I actually needed. Overall, I was most impressed with their professionalism, timeliness, ease of work, and cost-effective pricing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to be open in letting The Compass Video guide you. I'm a creative myself, so I came in knowing what I wanted. But if you're someone who's looking for a company that could help you from scratch,  then that’s also a really great way to use their services as well.

I was the Marketing Director of an estate planning law firm in Atlanta GA.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Compass?

We were looking to produce a weekly 60-minute video podcast, and then have those episodes broken down into short clips that were released daily on Facebook and YouTube. We wanted to completely hand off post-production to a professional team of creators we could trust to represent our brand.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for a video partner for weeks that could help us execute our video podcast strategy, and eventually settled on The Compass. Their communication, short turnaround, and impeccable quality were the three factors that ended up sealing the deal for us.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We started with a few discovery meetings to talk about the scope of the project and get clear on the strategic plan. Then, we would record the video podcast, and send it off directly to the team at The Compass. They would produce the video podcast every week and add a high-quality intro to it, as well as insert prerecorded ad break segments. They would then upload those weekly episodes to YouTube, Facebook, and all podcasting platforms. The team at The Compass would make a high-quality thumbnail for each episode before posting and would handle the posting of all content, while following best practices to get as much reach as possible. Then, they would select video segments from the podcast each week to post as individual clips.

The Compass team would add animations and video overlays to the podcast clips, and text when necessary, to make the clips more interesting and easy to understand. Then, they would create thumbnails and titles, and upload these clips to YouTube and Facebook for us. In short, we would deliver them a weekly 60-minute video, and they would break that video down for us and post 5 videos a week for us to every platform we needed, in addition to the weekly podcast. It was awesome.

What was the team composition?

Oscar took great care of us and was our main point of contact. His back-end team did great work, and Oscar was quick to respond whenever we had questions or concerns.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As the podcast went on, saw over 100,000 views cumulatively, and were completely relieved to no longer feel like we weren't putting out enough high-quality video content. We heard from our clients that they loved the videos we were producing. The videos gave us something to include in our outgoing email marketing campaigns each week, and we used them at multiple different stages of our marketing funnel.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was seamless. Once we established how files were to be sent, and when things were to be posted, it was all very easy. Their team was flexible and very professional.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The level of editing was top-notch. The level of communication and flexibility was also extremely impressive. If we ever had a concern, Oscar was immediately responsive and helped us solve any problem we had.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

When starting the project, I don't think we really knew what the vision was going to be at the outset. However, as things progressed and our internal team began to better understand The Compass's workflow, we began to get a much better understanding of what types of video segments would work well, and what wouldn't.
