Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of ForRest Camp, a camp I organize with my boyfriend’s help for children aged 10–16 years old.

What challenge were you trying to address with Colo Agency?

We needed help with branding and logo design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Colo Agency helped us develop our entire brand book containing our logo, guidelines for content, a color palette, and imagery and assets we could use for our webpage. Essentially, it contained our brand identity.

Initially, I described our audience and what our organization was about, and they suggested looking at certain references as examples of how our brand could look. Then, I picked the references I liked the most, and they began designing the logo they felt matched the better with our company. After that, we went through about 20 different logo changes before I approved the one I liked the most.

What is the team composition?

I worked with four people from Colo Agency. I mainly communicated with their founder, but I also worked with two designers who created the brand book and the branding assets.

How did you come to work with Colo Agency?

I found Colo Agency’s founder on Instagram. After we connected, I learned about his business, and we easily started collaborating.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $300–$400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in February 2022. Colo Agency took three weeks to finish everything because I requested a lot of changes — I wanted everything to be perfect.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The logo that Colo Agency designed for us was very vivid; it was exactly how I wanted it. Overall, we’re 100% satisfied with their work, and they met our expectations.

How did Colo Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Colo Agency was very tolerant and polite regarding the changes I requested, even when those changes delayed the project a little bit. It was very helpful for them to understand my needs and be patient enough to provide the final result I wanted. Additionally, we really appreciated that they gave us a discount price; they were very understanding and supportive.

Initially, they let me choose the communication channel of my preference, and I decided to communicate via Telegram. Additionally, we held a virtual meeting once per week to get updates and provide feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Colo Agency’s strengths were their organization and time management skills. When I worked with other agencies, I never knew what to expect and when. However, working with Colo Agency was different. I always knew when our next meeting would be and which deliverables I would get. I was always informed of what was happening.

Additionally, Colo Agency was very creative. The variety of the initial logos they provided was huge, and they made excellent suggestions for our brand that we could use in our business even beyond the branding itself.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would have liked it if the project had been faster. However, I know that dealing with all the changes I requested wasn't easy, and probably those changes took time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do some initial research yourself and try to define exactly what you want. If you already know how you expect the final result to be, you will help simplify the process.

What challenge were you trying to address with Colo Agency?

We hired Colo to help us create our identity and give us exposure in the Ukrainian media.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Colo provided us with rebranding assets, such as a logo and a few simple images that we use on social media. We needed designs and a few marketing materials. They’ve also helped me publish articles in the Ukrainian media about our rebranding efforts. I provided the materials we had, and they wrote the whole press release, which we published together with one of the biggest online magazines in Ukraine. Beyond these, Colo helped us market ourselves on LinkedIn; they provided us with images that we could use for our LinkedIn posts. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with Andrian (Founder). Designers were involved, but I didn’t communicate directly with them. 

How did you come to work with Colo Agency?

They were the ones who first reached out to me. 

How much have you invested with them?

It was a pro bono partnership. However, for this quality of work, the cost would be around €3,000–€4,000 (approximately $3,200–$4,300 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement occurred in March 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our branding ended up well. They kept the same theme we had before, but they managed to make it modern and appealing. This way, we stood out from other similar projects. Moreover, it was easy to collaborate with them. I just shared the general direction we should take, and they took over. Overall, they were highly professional.

How did Colo Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Communicating with them was easy. We mainly used text messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Colo delivered good results; the website and social media marketing concepts they provided were truly impressive. They’d be my go-to social media marketing agency if I was to launch another campaign. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any.
