How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project has started with a series of workshops. First - with the Board, then with more of identified stakeholders. As a result of those workshops, the vision, documentation (SRS) and MVP of the project was created. This few phases were a limited risk and highly beneficial for us as allowed to set up a proper scope for the project. After that, the ongoing development has started. Every few months grupa KMK presents live to the stakeholders the progress and plans for future development.

The application, which is the basis for the Silesian Blues Trail has been working since the end of 2016. This project has contributed to Wojciech Mirek’s – the person responsible for the project from the Garden City – being awarded the title of the Person of the Year in 2016 in Katowice.

The starting point of the project was the extraordinary content – memories of blues icons telling about the clubs that make up the map of blues in Silesia. Grupa KMK took over Project Management after first meeting. Two Projects coordinators - one overlooking technology, scope and schedule; second Coordinator - working with the design team to provide best possible experience and UI. The project was fast-paced and delivered on time.
