Cognitex Solutions

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the co-owner of an entertainment technology solutions company specializing in LED screens, laser shows, and XR multimedia productions for concerts, events, and permanent installations. We handle design, engineering, installation, and show operation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Cognitex Solutions?

We were rebuilding our company's website and wanted a focused technical developer rather than a full-service agency. Most agencies we looked at bundled ads, SEO, site, and reporting under one roof with a monthly package. We needed a developer who could execute our specifications.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cognitex Solutions has rebuilt our website from scratch on the same domain. The old site was slow and had no structured data, and the website is our main lead-generation channel, with LED screen rental as the top revenue priority.Specific objectives included a full rebuild on the existing domain with 301 redirects to preserve our SEO authority and consolidation of duplicate pages. We also aimed for a mobile PageSpeed score of 90+ and passing Core Web Vitals. Other goals included technical SEO, schema markup, canonical tags, Bulgarian/English hreflang, and findability in AI search. We also wanted them to implement our in-house copy and page structure, provide full client ownership of code, hosting, and accounts with no lock-in, and create an admin panel so our team could publish and update content ourselves. After launch, we wanted them to handle SEO/AEO/GEO work and manage our Google Ads account.Cognitex Solutions has gone beyond this scope. The team has read our text with the end result in mind, given us practical suggestions on wording and optimizing it for search, and made small edits to the word order. They've also created the full English version of the site themselves, translating every page and publishing it at no extra cost. The main focus has been the commercial core of the site: LED screen rental, our top revenue priority. The team has put the most effort into four areas.First, performance and technical SEO. The old site was slow, so speed was the starting point. The new site scores 100/100 on mobile in PageSpeed Insights, and the technical SEO foundation was built into the structure from the beginning instead of being added afterward.Second, the rental price calculator. This has been the feature that needed the most attention. Cognitex Solutions has redesigned its interface from the customer's point of view so that someone who sees our business for the first time can follow it without help.Third, the bilingual structure. Besides publishing our Bulgarian text, they've created and set up the full English version, with the language switching and hreflang that go with it.Fourth, a deadline tied to a real event. The launch was timed around a major volleyball championship that we supply with screens, and the homepage had to show it on time. Cognitex Solutions has adjusted the plan to hit that date.

What is the team composition?

We work with one main developer who handles the whole build and is our single point of contact.

How did you come to work with Cognitex Solutions?

I used an AI assistant to build a shortlist of web developers against my brief. Cognitex Solutions came out of that shortlist, and I spoke with Zahari (Founder) directly before hiring.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2026, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We recently launched the site, so it's too early to report on business metrics such as leads and rankings. However, the new site scores 100/100 on mobile in PageSpeed Insights, with the main content appearing in about 1.5 seconds on a slow 4G connection. The previous site took about a minute to load its menu.Additionally, within the first days after launch, one of our clients told us on their own initiative that they were impressed by the new site. We will update this review once we have a few weeks of real visitor data.

How did Cognitex Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been structured, calm, and transparent. The work has gone in clear stages: a paid prototype with measurable acceptance criteria, then the full build on a staging site, then review rounds with written, numbered change notes before launch. Zahari has applied every round and always answered quickly.Delivery has been on time on their side. Any delays have come from us, as we were still finalizing photos, texts, and decisions. We've also gone through many rounds of changes, more than we should have, and Zahari has handled all of them patiently and without charging anything extra. That level of flexibility is rare.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out most is Zahari's attitude; he works like a partner, not just an executor. The agreed scope was that we provide the text, and he uploads it, but he's gone well beyond that. He's read our copy with the end result in mind, suggested improvements to the wording and search optimization, redesigned our price calculator from the customer's point of view, and created and published the English version of all our main pages at no extra cost. His availability, patience, and flexibility are also impressive. He answers in the evenings and on weekends, not only during working hours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing significant on their side. If anything, the improvement is a shared one. At the start, we should have agreed on a clear process for revision rounds because, on our side, there were many small changes that could have been grouped. Zahari has handled them all patiently, but a defined process would have been easier for both of us.
