I’m the director of an importing company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Codigo Vision?

We were looking to build an internal tool to handle our logistics, which is a big part of our business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Codigo helped us shape the vision for what we were trying to build and map out the different pieces for it. They built the project on Drupal 8, and used jQuery.

It was a software design and development project. We came up with some rough documentation and gave feedback on where the tool needed to be. We also worked with their developers to build it out.

What is the team composition?

We worked with six people over the course of this process, but for the most part, there were fewer members than that. Typically, there were 2-3 people working on the project at any given time. My main point of contact was a full-stack engineer.

How did you come to work with Codigo Vision?

We were referred to them by a friend of mine who had worked with them previously. They sent a proposal and I liked what I saw, which is why we decided to go with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in early 2017, and our engagement is ongoing. We’re still working on adding new features and completing the code.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re overall impressed with the quality of work. We’re very happy with the tool and what it does for our company.

How did Codigo Vision perform from a project management standpoint?

I served as the project manager, in terms of deadlines. It was kind of hit-or-miss at times because a lot of the time, things like new features, would delay milestones. Typically, they were things that were outside of Codigo’s control. In general, they do a good job with keeping up with the project timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We think Codigo did a good job in realizing our vision for what the tool could do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really.

I’m the CEO of CollectorDASH, a white-label software solution for brands, licensors, or sellers of items with enthusiast fans. It enables e-commerce, social engagement, and innovative ways to deliver value to communities that share the same affinity.

We needed to augment our development capacity to build new features, refresh our UX, and maintain the system. That’s where Codigo Vision came in.

We paired a developer and a product manager with Codigo Vision’s team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Without Codigo Vision, we wouldn’t have been able to fully deliver for our customers. The team there was very flexible and easy to work with.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I worked directly with their CEO, which was very efficient for us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Codigo Vision is a professional company. They offer solid communication and fair pricing.

Not that I can think of.
