Codenovous Digital has built the entire backend for our platform. We’ve provided them with a roadmap, and they’ve completed the work by the end of the month. Our product is built into a few primary sections, including the client database where we store their information, such as menus and POS information. They’ve also built a POS adapter for us. Moreover, they’ve built the customer data of our client base where they can receive insights. They’ve also built our client-facing dashboard where they can edit their information and peer through data insights. This was literally only a customer facing Mobile App at the beginning, so the scale of these changes has been huge for us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve gone from having a prototype mobile app that filled the purposes of online ordering to a full-fledged CRM platform that business owners can use to make smarter decisions for their restaurant. At the same time, we’ve kept our original customer-facing ordering platform. We’ve gotten at least 10 times further in the same time period with the product since we started working with Codenovous Digital compared to the entire previous year, where we only developed a mobile app. We’re now at the point of being able to do sales thanks to their speed.
How did Codenovous Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They always deliver on time. We communicate through virtual meetings. Was points when we were meeting 7 days a week for hours at a time, and they are always available in crunch times.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Codenovous Digital is very fast with their work while ensuring that things are done properly. Even when we have criticism for them, they take it in stride and fix the issue immediately. We’ve asked them to be open with us for their critiques of what we’re building, and their insight has been very valuable. Overall, they’re a very open, honest, and reliable team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were some hiccups at the beginning of the project, but they were more due to my management than theirs. Ultimately, clear communication is on the business owners.
