For what projects/services did your company hire Code Shakers, and what were your goals?

We hired the Code Shakers team to create a revamp of our existing launch website. The goals were to clean up the main website pages, including product pages.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for a few developers on Clutch and ran quotes for the projects. Code Shakers provided the flexibility and one-on-one dev relationship we were looking for.

Code Shakers quickly organized a video call kick-off meeting and laid out project completion timelines. I used various tools, including Trello and Figma, which were very useful during the project.

Code Shakers completed the revamp with excellent quality and were very accommodating of the launch delays we encountered and their continuous flexibility was very helpful.

N/A - Code Shakers has always made themselves available for any hot-fixes and continued website support.

I'm the CEO of WP Doin, a web company that focuses on WordPress theme and plugin development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Code Shakers?

We hired Code Shakers for multiple frontend B2B projects. We usually handed over projects that required complex JavaScript and mobile functionality.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to meet our deadline and produce a high-quality, pixel-perfect optimization for mobile devices. Our code has always followed recent trends and standards and been optimized for the latest technologies. We needed a quality partner.

How did you select this vendor?

We met on Elance seven years ago and had an ongoing relationship. Rather than vendor selection, it was a lucky coincidence with mutual understanding.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We handed over all client requirements, especially for mobile devices. They mainly built structural changes; complex, device-dependant layouts; and mobile device image, script, and style optimization. They were responsible for several projects, usually frontend code for a WordPress theme.

What was the team composition?

They assigned a single lead developer whose only role was to deliver quality code and meet deadlines. We communicated with the developer directly because of our mutual trust.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We satisfied multiple clients with their quality code, and we didn't receive any complaints. We were extremely satisfied with their internal QA. We could show their code to clients right away.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicated through Basecamp and Slack, and they put the code on a .git repository. We didn't miss any deadlines. We worked with native speakers.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by the quality of their work, their internal QA, and their ability to meet all our deadlines. They communicated all potential issues, whether due to illogical requirements or problems, directly to us. We valued the quality of their work most; that was actually our priority, even at the cost of the deadline.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It's hard to say. We didn't have any serious issues, but there's always room for improvement.
