The company asked all the detailed questions about the highly technological business intelligence solution for us, the booking system and sources of data for the BI system. We planned the dashboards for holding owners and branches. They developed the drafts of them to show on the next step. Later they have got the data from our ERP system to calculate and reflect in reporting solutions.

The system was implemented and personal dashboards developed for the owners. The order was ready and personnel studied how to work with reporting dashboards and create new ones.

Highly technological business intelligence solution with a universal interpreter of the logic for calculating the indicators of management reporting articles, which, if the logic changes in ERP, would change the calculation algorithm in Power BI. The project was our own BI system which was really poorly developed by our own means. Cobit Solutions has realized the visualization of P&L dashboard and dashboards on top of ERP data exported into the intermediate Microsoft Azure SQL database.

The next stage was drafts approving and the system creation. The development and implementation took two more months. In the end the personnel were studying the workflow and how to adjust and create dashboards up to our tastes.

Our company ordered the digital marketing services analytics to see the profits and losses, daily reports and compare the effectiveness of different marketing channels of advertisement. Report for sales: how much and who sold from their sales plan after the fact for today, how much money went in.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for the vendor of course on the Internet and tried to get the recommendations about them. I liked the offer and prices.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The first stage was negotiations for the order and digital marketing channels we want to track. For the analytics of profits and losses, and daily reports we prepared all the valuable indexes to track and treat. After the technical tasks were ready we got drafts of the system and dashboards themselves. We provided all the information about our bookkeeping programs to get the data and connect with BI analytics. The company wrote our order during two months and implemented the end-to-end traffic analytics, report for sales and all our daily reports.

We got a group of 5 specialists among which are 3 developers, CEO and PM.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The end-to-end traffic analytics found a marketing channel with a 450% ROMI efficiency. Normal figure for ROMI 70-150%. Plus we found $3,500 wasted by a targetologist - without a link to the target site. The system also highlighted the wasted $ 16,000 of advertising costs on YouTube without tags and the possibility of analysis.

The vendor's personnel were experienced and the stages of the projects took only 4 months after we gave all the valuable indexes.

The most deciding factor was high proficiency and wide experience of the company.

Cobit Solutions arranged the meetings and for the plans negotiation and specifications. They asked to highlight all the important indexes for the reporting system. After that the process stepped to the stage of drafts and system architecture. The dashboard designs were ready and the process of development started. After the reception our staff was studying the system work and how to create customized dashboards on its base.

The CEO worked with us during the whole process plus 3 programmers and project manager from the vendor.

Our company was suffering while software development processes because of poor software solution for teamwork reporting. We use the popular task manager to set the plans and orders of customers. Jira data and Power BI integration, we saw the drawbacks and real reports of the workflows. Plus visualization of Jira data and DAX development were too necessary.

I would admit that the professional attitude of the vendor is very high, so that we didn’t have any problems or hitches.
