4stream.pl is a leading streaming platform in Poland which offers ShoutCast and IceCast servers.

For what projects/services did your company hire CloudPanda.io?

To maintenance infrastrucute.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

There are few such suppliers on the market, and this one immediately seemed very good

We support them in infrastructure maintenance on daily basis, starting from 2020. Configuration of all platform servers has been moved to ansible and is managed in automated way.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I have worked with one supplier, but I do not remember his position.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The cooperation is still going on, the engineers are awesome, and we definitely like it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between us is very effective. We get quick and specific answers. The infrastructure is stable and there is no failures.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The speed of their work and commitment to our project are outstanding.

Free-Shoutcast.com provides world-wide ShoutCast based streaming services. I'm responsible for platform finances.

For what projects/services did your company hire CloudPanda.io?

Our site was hosten on on-premise hardware what generated issues with scalability. We asked CloudPanda.io for migration to cloud environment.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with Daniel some time ago, so asked him again for help.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Basically that was pretty easy - we just specified our requirements regarding the scalability and cost limits. As a reply we got cloud transition plan with approximate costs estimations. Finally decided to use Hetzner Cloud instead of AWS because of better instances prices. Migration was very smooth without any impact for our customers.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were working with 3 DevOps enigneers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Finally we were able to abandon on-premise hosted hardware, cloud version is much cheaper to maintain.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We got some tips regarding the software updates which were required to implement on our side. Cooperation between DevOpses from CloudPanda.io and our development team was very good.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their cooperation was very valuable. they always explained us what we didn't know (technology or processes).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
