BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder and CEO of a healthcare company that builds products to bridge the gap between patients and doctors.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire CloudNetIQ Labs, and what were your goals?

We wanted to build a product that users could use to ask a doctor questions online and book an appointment. We wanted it built quickly and a timeline was set. We paid all invoices as at when due and gave them long documents of what the project should look like.

SOLUTION

How did you select CloudNetIQ Labs and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for development companies and even looked through their google reviews and clutch. We shortlisted a few and chose them after speaking with their CEO- Maven Harry who seemed knowledgeable about the product we wanted to build.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We broke down the project into deliverables like the customer pathway, the user interface, branding, database management, backend and front end engineering, testing and when it will go live. It was a detailed document.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

They were 2. Their CEO that is a front end developer and another staff- their backend engineer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The quality of the work was good but the time it took was exhausting. They also were not communicating effectively and routinely procrastinated tasks. The project took at least 2-3 months longer than their proposed due date.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

There was no planned update meeting from their team. My project manager had to set up weekly meetings to improve the time it took them to deliver each task. They also try to avoid meetings and prefer to keep you guessing while they work. Terrible experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have the talent. Their developers are good.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes. They need to communicate better and have empathy towards their customers. Their CEO routinely spoke rudely to me and passed statements about them having more expensive projects than mine.
