The Magic Molecule Company is an innovative sustainable product for domestic gardens and houseplants. It falls into a new category called biostimulants. I am the p/t marketing director.

Paid search marketing - PPC advertising and social advertising. Our goals have been to increase awareness, build a database and grow our audience and sell products.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Climbing Trees through peer referral. They took a very intelligent, strategic and methodical approach. They showed lots of evidence to demonstrate their understanding of this complex product and strategic ways to attract buyers when the category is unknown.

We had concerns because of a previous SEO and Paid company we'd engaged who c onstantly let us down. Additionally the previous company had kept all paid advertising under their accounts which they wouldn't share with us so all of the learnings from all of the campaigns was lost when we moved away from them.

• Step 2: Implementation of social advertising, pay per click advertising with monthly reports, further insights and further recommendations. They also worked collaboratively with our team to help us implement a key word strategy and develop specific landing pages around the key identified terms.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have increased our audience and customer base, gained huge insight on consumer behaviour, increased sales in a category area that people are unaware of. Leading in searches for many key terms we aimed at.

The team are super friendly, technical but communicate in an easy to understand way, always on time, detailed analysis and real experts in all they do.

No none, I just want them to continue to do exactly what they are doing.

We needed their team’s expertise in digital marketing and website development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve initially tasked Climbing Trees with reinventing our outdated website to help us optimize our online presence. Their team has first conducted a discovery phase to identify our needs and finalize the design and features they’ll integrate into our new platform. Climbing Trees has then proceeded with the development and implementation stages, and they’re currently responsible for maintaining our platform.

Apart from their development work, Climbing Trees also supports our digital marketing pipeline by managing our ad spend, SEO, and PPC efforts. They devise different branding strategies to drive organic traffic to our website and conduct regular market research to identify new industry trends and market opportunities.

Climbing Trees was recommended to me by another company we were working with. Upon reaching out to us, they conducted an initial presentation. We had to make a careful decision —  it was a big move for us to do a brand overhaul, but we believed in Climbing Trees’ capacity to make our goals happen.

We’ve spent about $100,000 so far.

Our ongoing and long-term engagement with Climbing Trees commenced in February 2014.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Climbing Trees has provided significant help in keeping our business metrics high despite the pandemic. Our organic site traffic has gone up by 40–50%, and our PPC ratio has gone up by 87% — these numbers alone are enough proof that they know how to deliver quality work.

How did Climbing Trees perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via email. Climbing Trees is a highly accommodating partner — they always make it a point to keep us in the loop and respond to our questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with their personal and thorough approach. Climbing Trees takes their time in understanding our needs and ensuring that they only deliver straightforward solutions that address those.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can benefit from more refined communication methods. We’ve had to make some adjustments when Climbing Trees had a change of staff, and I feel like those could’ve been addressed if they’ve stayed in touch with us more.

Be clear in outlining your goals and preferences to help their team deliver tailored solutions for you. If you know the ins and outs of your business, you’ll react to their work more accurately, and they’ll comprehend your feedback and reward you with positive results.

I am the Head of Business Development for a Drone Detection Solutions company. We provide clients around the world with market-leading technology that detects and mitigates against unauthorized drones from entering restricted airspace.

After a successful launch of our new website, we hired Climbing Trees to implement SEO content onto our site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project started with keyword research which identified our potential customers online habits and the terms they might search for on Google. The results from this would then lay the foundations for the SEO on our website.

We work with around three members of the team.

Our Chief Commercial Officer had previously used Climbing Trees in the past and recommended using them for SEO.

We’ve probably spent about £3,500 GBP to date (approximately $4,800 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Initial communications began in December 2020 for the work to be carried out in the first half of 2021. There are plans to begin new projects with Climbing Trees before the end of the year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website only went live a month ago so it is too soon to get any substantial analysis on how well the SEO is working.

How did Climbing Trees perform from a project management standpoint?

The team performed extremely well on the project. The work was always delivered on time and of high quality.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was very impressed by their knowledge, hard work and their eagerness to get the project finished to a high standard. They offer great help, not only on SEO but on other aspects of marketing -  it's nice to have a company working with us that knows what they're doing.

The team is great at helping and is very knowledgeable so ask as many questions as possible and if you don't understand something then get them to go into more detail.

Focusing on this area has more than doubled the web shop turnover. It is not just the direct SEA management but the two way continuous discussion on how we structure, time and run promotions along with a general ability to get to the critical factors that have made the relationship so effective.

Online traffic has steadily grown over the years. We also have many visitors to our showroom who have seen us through online searches.

We have bi-weekly meetings where we review and look forward to the upcoming weeks. In between these meetings, the two members from Climbing Trees are avaiilabe by phone or email. Any query is answered immediately with any action request dealt with quickly.

Climbing Trees' open, honest approach is impressive. Tasks get done and their eagerness to increase sales for the comapny is invaluable. They are a joy to deal with and nothing is too much trouble.

I was the Digital Marketing Manager for an international events agency and organiser.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team worked incredibly hard to deliver results and we could see they pulled out all the stops to do so. We learned a lot about how Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads fit in with our targets and goals. Very consultative, responsive, and hardworking!

We had full visibility at all times. Timelines were clear, communication was frequent. It felt more like a partnership than simply an external supplier delivering a service.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge and honesty. I have had a bad experience with PPC/SEO companies before who tried to blag their way through and weren't thorough in their reporting, so I often didn't know what was actually happening and had to really dig to get the answers wanted. Climbing Trees could not be more opposite. They are willing to prove their value, are completely transparent and are great fun to work with.
