The project required the app to work on both iOS and Android platforms, and it had to be developed natively. The app allows a specific person to sign in after being emailed credentials and fill out a survey over a precise period of time. CHERRYPIE STUDIO also created a web interface for backend management, allowing us to email said credential and organize the submitted information.

As far as I was aware, they assigned a single developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A group of people using the app at hospitals demonstrated its success. It allows us to obtain better insights compared to what we had been getting with other methods. The founders were very happy with how it performed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their CEO was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I've had to work with some freelancers before and this was the best experience I've had working with one by far.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their skilled employees were more than capable of taking on the project and communicated very clearly. They didn’t waste any time in delivering the product and the handover was seamless.

Although we receive a lot of mobile app inquiries, we didn’t want to hire full-time mobile developers. Instead, we decided to find third-party developers to build our iOS and Android apps.

We wanted to satisfy our customer demands. With our web services, customers couldn’t access their chat messages conveniently. We needed resources to build native mobile apps to address these concerns.

They used our design to build native iOS and Android apps that mirrored the functionalities of our web service. The apps featured dynamic chat functions including easy navigation, adjustable chat statuses, online-availability indicators, and team-availability indicators. Customers could also respond to emails from the chat window and hide the chat widget within the apps.

We worked with an iOS developer, an Android developer, and a project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the app launch, we’ve seen 90 downloads within 30 days. These are great numbers for a B2B SaaS business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Compared to other developers, they communicated clearly to provide project updates and new app builds. When they encountered ambiguities, they proactively reached out for clarification.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We appreciated their self-sufficiency; we never had to micromanage them. We specified the app requirements and the design, and they did the rest.

Are there any areas for improvement?

While we were impressed by the quality of their work, they could have been more time-effective to meet project deadlines. However, the slight delays were insignificant compared to their impressive deliverables.
