We hired ChefUX to focus on the UI/UX and brand identity components for a music streaming application.

How did you select Chef UX?

We were looking for vendors through direct references from our development team. ChefUX came through such a reference.

We wanted to commence work with the product design first, and then move towards the brand identity. So, during the first phase, we worked together with the product design team from ChefUX. The product design team arranged a meeting to discuss the solution we had in mind and we went back and forth a few times defining the scope for the initial release.

Then we had weekly sync-ups to discuss and review the work done by the team. The team kept us posted on updates via a dedicated Slack channel and listened to all the feedback that my team had for ChefUX; often went beyond just responding to what we asked.

My team worked directly with two UX engineers and a designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’re pleased with the deliverables from ChefUX. The UI/UX serves as the foundation for the B2C application we’re now working to develop in-house. The final deliverables perfectly match with the vision we had at the start, and our in-house team is much delighted to bring life to the incredible designs that ChefUX made for us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We set up a standard communication channel via Slack. ChefUX kept us updated weekly regarding the progress asynchronously through the Slack channel (with text messages, images, and video walkthroughs). Once every few weeks, we jumped in for virtual calls to discuss the intermediate outcomes, and provide feedback to shape up the output.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their process was amazing! Every step of the work was well planned, and the lead UX engineer actively engaged with my team during brainstorming calls.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, their service was perfect. I would recommend them to anyone for a UI/UX project, and we're hoping to work more with them in future projects.

We looked for companies with creativity and artistic excellence to cater for diversity of members of the College of Community Physicians

After a small meeting of identification of the basic needs and the scope of design, the contributed in creation of invitation, flyers and the branding of the event, followed up with alteration of design with the feedback of the council members to execute the final design within a matter of days.

What was the team composition?

I've worked closely with the executive of the team on concept presentation and initial discussion and with other team members for follow up of the design.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome project design was very creative and innovative, exceeding the expectations of the college members and received positive feedback from the clients catered. It was a 100% success.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between the two teams were very effective. The initial designing of work was very efficient, the creative essence was maximum and the follow through of the design alterations and adjustments was superb.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work efficiency and speed of delivery within timelines are commendable. Although delivered way ahead of deadlines, the creativity and the quality of design was above expectations leading ample time for the client to make alterations.

Even the subtle feedbacks of the client were addressed and the amendments were made in the final design to suit the requests perfectly.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

No, they always provided the services exceeding our expectations, well ahead of stipulated deadlines. I could not have expected for more.

Vendor was selected through a tender process and through recommendations.

They took our requirements and matched it with our design concepts and themes. The initial draft project was handed over quickly and we discussed minor tweaks that needed to be updated. Project was finalised a week after that.

They were patient and listened carefully to our requirements. They also advised us on how to do things better.
