I’m the founder and managing partner of CodeWeRx, an IT consulting firm specializing in healthcare and startups.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adexin?

Adexin served as development overflow for a vast majority of a rehab-specific electronic medical record (EMR) project. Over the course of three years, we developed an efficient, functional, and feature-rich system.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to save our providers time.

How did you select this vendor?

We’d worked with Adexin on several smaller projects previously, and they were always professional in meeting their deadlines and adjusting to an ever-changing environment.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

We took over a platform written in a legacy source code. We eventually migrated the platform to a two-factor authentication, web-based platform hosted in the cloud with encrypted EMR files. Users maintained functionality throughout the project.

What was the team composition?

At the highest point, we had 11 resources including senior and mid-level developers, a mobile app developer, a UI designer, and three testers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project was one of the defining points of my career. We not only pleased the client immensely but also served a lot of people. Before the first iteration, documenting each visit took providers 90 minutes. By the time we finished, those the process was significantly more rich and compliant, yet only required 12–13 minutes.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I served as the project manager and communicated daily with a project lead from Adexin. The communication was effortless, and we still talk to this day, a year after the project ended.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Adexin's flexibility in resource staffing, terms of payment, and hours of operation made us great partners.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

It would be nice if they had more ancillary resources and technologies like PUSH notifications and SharePoint, however, those technologies are expensive to staff. We mostly use Java, PHP, and Angular anyway, so it wouldn’t be fair to suggest.

I’m the CEO at Navigine. We created a software platform for precise indoor positioning. It works like Google Maps, but also shows your location when you enter buildings like shopping malls, airports, and train stations. The platform consists of a mobile SDK and backend.

We needed additional support with development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Adexin helped us develop our software platform. They’re focusing on a major portion of the platform that includes many aspects that work on the server, in the cloud, or in an on-premise environment. Internally, we only developed the mobile component.

The team provides software development support for PHP programming, MySQL, Postgres, Docker containers, Node.js, Angular, and jQuery. Adexin has helped us better understand the technical requirements we need to build a product. Their training has educated our own team on how to deploy and implement changes inside the system.

What is the team composition? 

Adexin assigned us a project manager and technical resources who work with us on a sprint basis.

How did you come to work with Adexin?

A friend recommended Adexin to me. We compared vendors’ prices and experience. Based on their presentation describing their services, we decided to work with them.

We’ve spent $150,000 so far.

We started working together in October 2015, and our engagement is ongoing.

My team is pleased to be working with Adexin. Their managers are highly supportive, which is very important to us.

How did Adexin perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a weekly sprint and use a task manager. We started off using Jira and now work with Redmine.  Our team is extremely happy with our communication, documentation, and coordination with Adexin. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Adexin capably solved problems very quickly. They always have someone available to help us, even on nights and weekends.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Adexin is doing a very good job. They could expand their technology spec by hiring Node.js professionals or in other specialized fields of technology.

We’ve worked with Adexin’s team for several years and successfully completed multiple projects. They’ve mainly helped us complete assignments for customers from the Nordic region using .NET and Angular technologies.

What were your goals for this project?

Since we work on multiple projects simultaneously, each project has its own goals. The main task on our side is to provide top services for our customers and successfully complete their projects on time and within budget.

For one of our many projects, Adexin built an MVP for a Real Estate Service company utilizing .NET Core & Angular. The goal of the project was to facilitate management of user properties in Norway. The system helps users with the various aspects of finding a new home and with relocation. The Adexin team was involved in the implementation of the backend and frontend of the platform; this includes authentication service, a view of available estates for sale on Google Maps, and the ability to show house sales.

What was the team composition?

We worked with the CEO on accounting related questions, the CTO to fulfill necessary resources, and directly with their developers on technical topics.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

All of our joint projects have been successfully completed thus far. Our customers are satisfied and continue to work with us, and also bring in new business. I believe that both sides of the business are satisfied.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Since all resources were mainly managed directly by us, there were no issues related to project management. It is always a pleasure to work with Adexin’s CEO and CTO.

The most impressive part is the level of trust that arose between our teams. All promises that were made were fulfilled.
