We have uploaded the videos to our website and our patients love them, we regularly receive compliments on them.

CB Media provides video production and editing services for us. Their work has included livestreaming live events, compiling and captioning video edits from different Zoom calls, and collaborating with us on video production for charity events. Moreover, they’ve done animation videos for some of our client’s websites and social media accounts.

I’m the communications director of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, a membership-based organization, that represents over 1200 different companies within the Irish Motor Industry.  Our role is to represent the views of the motor industry by campaigning to the Government, state bodies, the media and the motoring public.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CB Media Video Productions delivered two event videos for us; an animated video for our budget lobbying campaign and an awards/networking event. We first explained the importance of the event during the discovery phase, as we wanted to capture the essence of bringing the industry together.

The budget lobbying video was more of an animated educational video to convey our message to our national government. CB Media was responsible for audio mixing, post-production, and filming.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our partnership with them was very positive. CB Media were easy to work with and highly knowledgeable throughout the course of our engagement. They listened to our feedback intently and quickly understood what we wanted to achieve without issues.

The videos produced were engaging and thanks to their technical expertise, the team perfectly captured the message we wanted to convey in the animated video and the atmosphere/sense of occasion for our in person events by video also.

The team delivered their tasks within the given time frame, and the turnaround time for their production was quick and seamless.

We were impressed with their professionalism, streamlined approach to production management, and ability to understand our requirements and execute them accurately.

None, as the overall process worked very well for us.

I work with County Kildare LEADER Partnership on the LEADER (Rural Development) Programme and also provide support to Social Enterprises in County Kildare.

We hired CB Media Video to create short videos on twelve different social enterprises in County Kildare. These videos are intended for use on the websites and social media etc.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We sought quotations from three video production companies. We found CB Media online and when reviewed their tender and examples of their work they scored the highest.

We started with an online introductory meeting with CB media and we discussed the project in detail. We agreed on a schedule for the project and we provided background and contact information for each of the twelve social enterprises participating in this initiative. The video work and interviews were completed during the month of November 2022

We worked with Louise O. who was the Project Manager/Co-ordinator. The feedback process was excellent and very user friendly. We were very happy with the entire process.

We plan to launch this intiative publicly in late February 2023. We were really happy with CB Media and the work which they have done for us. Very professional company and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend CB Media.

Very good attention to detail. Very pleasant to work with and very easy to communicate with. Everything was carried out to schedule.

There were a couple of interviews which were carried out outdoors (during the month of November) and we would have preferred if these interviews were indoors.

Following an initial email from CB media, I decided to arrange a call with Cynthia and was really impressed by their offerings. We reviewed the content they had produced for other companies and really liked the content and footage. It was a good fit for what we were looking for.

We started with a meeting with Louise who explained the whole process in detail and provided us with an outline of what aspects they would cover and questions when filming on location. She also explained the process involved with engaging with clients to get their testimonials and nothing was a problem.

Louise was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made the whole filming process so easy and seamless. We received the edited footage in different lengths the week after the video was filmed and we have been using the videos frequently since then.

We worked with Louise throughout the whole process and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with, so friendly, efficient and organised.

We use the videos weekly at the beginning of all our webinars and they provide a much more professional approach rather than just opening the webinar. We also utilise the videos in many of our online campaigns to showcase our services, our team and to provide information on what we provide.

The communication throughout the whole process was excellent and from start of the production to the finish was straightforward and easy. The project was well managed by the team at CB Media and we were delighted with the end result.

I was really engaged from the first sales call I had with the company. I found Cynthia definitely established the need and CB Media delivered on their committment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Louise came to our office in Cork to film the initial video and then travelled to meet clients in Waterford, Dublin and Galway. The feedback from the clients was also really positive as we did not want to inconvenience anyone. I would highly recommend CB Media if you are looking to get a professional video produced.

The videos have so far garnered tremendous engagement on our social media channels, and have assisted us in relating to the public the type of forward-looking cancer research projects their donations go towards.

Louise and the team were very responsive to feedback, and attentive to any requests made while filming. The process was seamless from start to finish, with edits supplied on a prompt basis.

Even when situations did not go according to plan, as can happen when working in a research environment, Louise and the team were very flexible and agile when responding to challenges and creating workable solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

On some occasions the instructions from the videographer to participants were quite curt, and this may be a work-on in terms of communication.

• Following a great sales pitch from their members of staff who were knowledgeable, understanding of problems we have, produced excellent videos for other companies and more.
• Our goal was to produce videos for customer for them to understand our business in more depth and not just think of us as another construction company as we are much more than that.
• Our first video we are very very pleased with.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had heard great things about them. Their sales pitch was excellent. The videos they have produced were outstanding and knew for our new product and service 'Compliance' this was the best way to promote it. They can tailor the video to our liking and there was never any problems with changing anything as they done it within a day or 2.

Firstly myself cynthia and louise set up a meeting to discuss what we wanted to produce. We showed them our platform and the details this project needed. They were very understanding and knew this was important to us. Secondly , CB media came up with a script following the information we gave them. The script was great but we made a few changes as we would know exactly what we need to put across to our potential customers. Once the script was signed off CB media created the storyboard.

The storyboard included powerpoint presentations of our dashboard, the customers we wanted to target our product too and much more, it was great. We spent a couple of weeks tweaking the storyboard to make sure it was perfect. During this period CB media ran auditions for voice overs and gave us a broad choice of voices to suit our video. Once all agreed they made the production. It was amazing.

I worked with Cynthia and Louise. They were excellent, they always made time for meetings. Answered my phone calls when needed and made my life a lot easier. It was very straight forward , once i mentioned a change they were on it straight away. It was a pleasure working with them for this video!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have only began our process of sending this video and setting up meeting with potential clients this week. We have heard great things back from our customers who have been really impressed with the video and our new service we have created which has let to meeting for potential sales. So , so far its been successful and i can only imagine it will get better.

Both managers were so easy to work with. Understood our problems at hoistech and created a brilliant video to show our customers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are so creative. I had seen videos from previous work they have done and they were excellent. As our new service was so unique i thought it might be hard for them to understand and grasp the points we were trying to make but there was never an issue. The 2 girls were always on the ball!

From my experience i couldnt say a bad word about them. Always available to meet. Easy to get points across and take on board. Very creative
