CaseWhen partnered with Linstol, the world's largest supplier of headphones and passenger comfort items–serving major global airlines—to design and implement a complete modern data stack for analytics and reporting.

– Data Infrastructure Setup: Built a unified pipeline using Databricks for ingestion, transformation, and modeling, integrating data from PostgreSQL, S3, and third-party SaaS tools.

– Data Modeling & KPI Alignment: Defined source-of-truth metrics in dbt to ensure all reporting was based on consistent business logic.

– Business Intelligence Implementation: Implemented Metabase as the visualization and analytics layer, embedding real-time dashboards directly into Linstol's internal web portal for Account Managers.

– Automation & Alerts: Configured automated data validation and alerting in Metabase to improve data quality and proactive issue detection.

CaseWhen is now expanding the partnership to build and maintain Linstol's Finance reports in Power BI.

CaseWhen partnered with Samba TV to rebuild their core performance dashboards as part of a broader move to Power BI. Samba’s teams were used to a legacy reporting tool, so the challenge was to modernize the stack without disrupting how people worked. Using a large flat data set in Azure Synapse, we translated a complex set of reports into a single Power BI experience that feels familiar but is far easier to maintain and extend. Together with stakeholders from analytics and revenue operations, we co-designed executive and operational wireframes, agreed which fields belong on each page, and aligned on how key metrics and time-based views should behave across dashboards. Throughout the project we worked closely with IT on data access and refreshes, and with business owners to validate both logic and layout. The result is a modern reporting layer that gives Samba TV a clearer, more consistent view of performance – without requiring anyone to be a BI expert to use it.

10+ legacy dashboards replaced by a coherent set of executive and operational Power BI views on a single data foundation.
Less manual analysis thanks to reusable measures, time comparisons, and a shared calendar model instead of ad hoc spreadsheets.
Aligned metric definitions documented in shared sheets, cutting QA time and confusion around “which number is correct.”
Controlled rollout via a preview environment, structured feedback loop, and change log, making it easier to onboard a wider business audience.
