I’m the owner and founder of a nutritional advice organization called Macronazi.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cartoon Media?

I was trying to find a way to communicate certain concepts with my clients in a precise and retainable way.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cartoon Media helped me show the services I was offering through seven animated videos. We first discussed my problem and how they could solve it. Afterward, we went through the project step by step, starting with the script and descriptions of the animations that would go along with the narration. The basis of the script were the emails that I would send to potential clients. Together we shrunk the content down to seven 30-second videos.

Once I approved it, the team drew the cartoons. Aside from the concepts we included, they also created an animated version of me. In terms of the voice-over, I was the one who did it under their guidance. We went through an iterative process to make sure the videos looked and sounded the way I wanted them to and that the voice-overs conveyed the right message. Once all that was done, they gave me watermarked versions and asked me for any final changes. After I approved them, they sent over the final deliverables without watermarks.

I only worked with Phil (Managing Director).

How did you come to work with Cartoon Media?

I found them through Instagram. I used other cartoon vendors, and so the algorithm pulled Cartoon Media up. It caught my eye, and I decided to do an initial consultation with Phil. I was nervous at first because they weren’t a local company, but I knew the minute I spoke to him that he was professional and knew what he was doing.

How much have you invested with them?

The advertising investment was $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve gotten very positive feedback from my clients. They really liked it and commended the videos for their professionalism and high quality. I also really love it. The animated version of me was really realistic, and everything else was just perfect. There was nothing I wanted to change — Phil was excellent about being thorough and making sure it was everything I needed. 

How did Cartoon Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Cartoon Media communicated throughout the whole process. They were very professional and let me know where they were and what to expect in their next update. Additionally, the team was very helpful and would make great suggestions. I had never done voice-over before this, but Phil walked me through the entire process and recommended software for me to use. It ended up sounding really good, which is terrific. Everything worked out beautifully. Their insight was valuable, and I completely trusted them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was able to easily grasp what exactly it was I needed: an alternative way to reach my clients through the watching of animated videos, while giving them the ability to watch them again should they need. I’ve already received positive I’ve feedback. Cartoon Media hit the nail on the head, and I’m grateful for their help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could do differently. The videos were perfect.

I am a freelance content producer for a global sustainable packaging producer for the food and medical sector.

We had a new client who needed a video made as part of a multichannel campaign. They requested an animation similar to ones we already had done with Cartoon Media. Their goal was to tell a story about a new packaging solution for family food products.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We knew Cartoon Media's style and had used them in the past for two videos.

We created a script with some specifications, which they used to create a storyboard. After which we communicated back and forth with comments and amendments until we arrived at a final animated version.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with the Managing Director who would relay our feedback to animators, sending us new versions of the asset promptly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client is very satisfied with the result. The asset has yet to be released publicly.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We spoke initially over a video call and then back and forth via email. Using filesharing via Dropbox with comment features, we were able to receive client feedback and give our feedback easily. Any emails were replied almost instantly and very clearly with the precise information I needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our contact was helpful in offering insight into what would be suitable for our client and target audience. This includes music selection and animation details/transitions. They were flexible whenever our client required changes to the music or content, and generous when these changes may have otherwise incurred additional costs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some minor details in the animation that required some back-and-forth. It would have saved time if these glitches were reviewed prior to sending to us.

As the Director of Talent and Organizational Development, I play a leading role in developing Eden Housing’s employee development programs, helping new associates establish, measure, and plan their career. Cartoon Media was hired to create a whiteboard video that explains our employee recognition program. Another video was produced to explain the tax credit program in California.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals do the first video were to heighten awareness and employee buy-in to the program. The second video was to educate employees how the tax credit program works.

I compared their quality of work and cost with two other vendors.

The vendor started by assisting us in script development then moved on to storyboarding, editing, and final production. They made the process seamless and painless.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our video is available for viewing on YouTube. It has been a hit with employees and a great resource for onboarding.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very good. I was impressed at their great customer service though we were n different time zones on two different sides of the planet.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of work is outstanding and really makes our brand shine. The videos are entertaining and captivating. They get the job done.

We hired Cartoon Media to put together a marketing video for an innovative product we designed for the electrical industry.

To have an engaging marketing video to use in our presentations to potential clients for the sale of our innovative product.

How did you select this vendor?

We reached out to multiple Australian companies, but never found a match. I was referred to Cartoon Media from a friend who had used them before. Their service was impeccable and the price was great even with the AUD to Pound conversion rate.

The video consists of cartoon animation and live videos of the actual product in use. The process was to explain what we were trying to achieve, write a script/storyboard, artwork, voice-over artists and we did the filming for the actual product. The communication throughout the whole process was very easy considering we are a world away.

As above for process. In regards to feedback, before we proceeded to the next section revisions were sent and required approval before commencing to the next stage.

I’m the charity director of TTPNetwork, a patient-led organization supporting those diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) and their families.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Cartoon Media to accomplish for your charity and the TTP community?

We needed two short explainer videos within a very specific budget.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cartoon Media created two short explainer videos. The first was designed for adults who were new to a diagnosis of TTP or wanted to understand TTP. The second was designed for young children with a congenital form of TTP. Both videos were completed on schedule, and we had many choices regarding style, music, and voiceover sound. Cartoon Media handled virtually all aspects of the project. We chose to write a basic script, and Phil helped us evolve it to work in the required format.

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and they were responsive to our inquiry.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Cartoon Media delivered two short explainer videos on time and according to our brief. The first video received the highest number of views of any video we’ve published on YouTube, reflecting strong audience engagement. In just one month, it received 279 views on YouTube. We haven’t shared the second video yet. On Facebook, the post had a reach of 680, which is exceptionally high compared to other posts. Together, the videos provide an accessible, reusable resource to support patient education and awareness.

How did Cartoon Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Cartoon Media had excellent project management. They had good communication, clear direction, and management of my expectations. We primarily communicated via email and messaging apps.

Cartoon Media’s personal service was impressive.
