I’m the marketing director of B2BLOT.com. We’re a platform for professional car dealers. It allows for fast and effective communication between dealers and dealerships.

We needed to design and develop an MVP of our web application.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to develop and launch the platform within a short period to test it in the market and begin selling services.

How did you select this vendor?

We had several interviews and decided to work with Cappers Applications after meeting their project manager. In addition to his technical knowledge, he provided us with good experience in product development.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The application proposes to reduce the time of finding and processing a deal transaction. Auto dealers choose their method of sale, either setting a fixed price or accepting bids from colleagues. Sales managers can search for the vehicle they need and find comprehensive information about it. The system automatically generates documents to make the sale process easy for both a salesperson and a client (contract, shipping documents). Specifically, Cappers Applications team has developed user-stories, software structure, and the app’s UX.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a team consisting of an IT project manager and a full-stack developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our client base is growing and we’re going to add other services to the system. Cappers Applications not only developed what we asked for, but they also improved our UX and gave us advice regarding business processes and operations.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication was easy and smooth. They managed the project professionally.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their professionalism, knowledge, client-oriented approach, and price-quality ratio were outstanding.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There’s always room for improvement, but, overall, we’re happy with what Cappers Applications delivered. We’ll continue to work with them.

I own a small design studio, that focuses on supplying creative marketing and branding support for companies of all sizes.

We wanted them to fix our website and provide updates to our custom website plugin.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to fix the pay and membership portals for a client’s website along with bug fixes and updating the yearly event page with new content. Additionally, we wanted to design and build a custom voting portal plugin.

How did you select this vendor?

A colleague encouraged us to use Cappers for web-based services. I needed a vendor who could work on extremely tight deadlines and fix bugs that came up along the way and chose them for the job.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

The project was inherited at the last second from another developer right before the client’s important event. Cappers provided an active leadership role in the fixes, updates and portal design and creation. They did not simply execute tasks but challenged and brought value to each project stage. Although my company interfaced directly with the client, Cappers was with me every step of the way, lending their experience in both planning out the project and executing it.

The leadership team included me and the owners of Cappers. A small team of developers also worked on this project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The client was extremely satisfied with the work both Cappers and I worked on. We all still work together on other projects and the client serves as a great source of referrals.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I managed the creative and client management side, while Cappers managed their team. Together we set milestones and a work schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have a high level of professionalism and experience for a smaller company. Their team is responsive, agile, and able to pivot effectively to changes as needed during critical and hectic projects.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

There are always areas to improve. They should continue to improve processes as they grow so that they maintain their quick response time and effectiveness.

I am the Creative Director of Caju Multimedia, a one-stop design studio. We have about 12 employees and we serve clients in Canada and the U.S.

We needed help with numerous website and web-app development projects, but for this specific project, we had to develop a platform for registering racing drivers.

What were your goals for this project?

We were trying to fulfill a development project for our end-client.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We started using Cappers with small projects which showed off their great capabilities and professional delivery. After that, it was easy for us to explore bigger projects.

Describe the project in detail.

Everything started with the discovery phase – learning the client's need – and then they developed wireframes and a workflow. The design was implemented later, after the first round of approval focusing on the application’s functions. Integrating the solution with their original database and printer was tackled next. Finally, the payment gateway was integrated, which made it ready for launch. The project itself required many different conditionals for each user role and needed to be usable on mobile devices.

What was the team composition?

We worked with two creatives, three developers, and a project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Clients and users can finish their registrations at least three times faster than before, and we’ve received great feedback.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had bi-weekly status meetings to go over all the steps of the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge is very impressive, and they’re always finding solutions. They are also very responsive – they were there to answer any questions or concerns we had. We’re looking forward to working with them on future projects.

We’re very satisfied with their work.
