Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We approached Calibre Web Studio with an idea for Our Song Request, a platform that would help care homes and families provide personalized music experiences for people living with dementia. We needed a development partner who could take the concept and turn it into a complete, working product. Stefan and his team handled the entire process, from UI/UX design and technical architecture to frontend and backend development. They built a multi-tenant platform supporting multiple care homes, with dedicated access for families, care staff, and administrators.
The system included resident management, personalized song ordering, order tracking, administrative dashboards, and audio delivery. It was a complex project involving multiple user roles, interconnected workflows, and different access requirements. The most important outcome was taking Our Song Request from an initial concept to a successfully launched product that welcomed its first customers. What impressed us most was the team's ability to understand our vision, translate our requirements into a practical solution, and handle the technical challenges involved. Communication was clear throughout the project, and we felt confident in their ability to deliver. We would happily recommend Calibre Web Studio to businesses looking for a reliable technical partner to develop custom software from the ground up.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest achievement was taking Our Song Request from an initial business idea to a fully developed, launched platform that successfully onboarded its first customers. Calibre delivered a complete multi-tenant application supporting three distinct user groups: families, care home staff, and administrators. The platform enabled end-to-end song ordering, resident management, order tracking, and delivery of personalized recordings, all managed through a centralized system. Most importantly, we moved from having no product to operating a live digital service capable of serving real customers and supporting our business growth.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They managed the project with a strong sense of ownership from the initial concept through to launch. Stefan and his team went beyond simply following instructions. They took the time to understand our business, translated our ideas into practical solutions, and proactively suggested improvements we hadn't initially considered. Communication was excellent throughout the project. They kept us informed of progress, explained technical decisions clearly, and were responsive whenever we had questions or requested changes. The team met the agreed delivery timeline while maintaining a high standard of quality. As our requirements evolved, they remained flexible, addressed challenges effectively, and ensured the project continued moving forward. What impressed us most was their commitment to the success of our product. They approached the work as a genuine development partner, helping us turn an initial idea into a fully launched platform serving our first customers.
