Arts non-profit in the District of Columbia with a mission of celebrating cultural democracy and art for everyone. I am the CEO / Founder.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Caandor Labs?

Caandor Labs created out new website in 2019. After this positive engagement, we are now working together on our digital project Down to Earth.

What were your goals for this project?

Shining a light on the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and the Kenilworth area’s past, present, and future with a sharp focus on the climate emergency and its intersectionality with systemic racism. Through Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall we will journey with artists as they create their projects; focus community advocacy efforts.

SOLUTION

How did you select Caandor Labs?

OUr first engagement, we did an open RFP process and they were the selected firm for our project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Creating a web series, podcast, and photography for the project. Creating a micro-site and updating all after each individual season. The whole project will wrap up with a hard copy book that we will create and execute together.

What was the team composition?

I will work closing with both founders weekly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It si too soon to answer this question regarding our current project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Weekly meetings, run with an agenda. Communication via text, email, and comments on google docs. It all flows well between us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their authenticity and our alignment on goals and objectives.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There are always way to improve, at present all is working well and communication is flowing.
