The studio was hired to create an internal Welcome Page for newcomers and employees based on a booklet we previously used for such cases.

The project was successfully finished after several iterations - it met the requirements of the internal platform and was approved by the development team as well as by in-house designers.

Busy Studio was very accurate with the deadlines. They delivered quickly, and even when adjustments were needed, they provided them in minimum of time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciated the response rate and proactivity (whenever there was a response lacking). Busy studio gave their maximum effort to accommodate our ideas and bring them to life, which isn't always easy considering the multitude of internal guidelines and restrictions. The end result exceeded our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Busy studio could have done differently?

Maybe more fine-tuning at the beginning would be helpful, as with the first iterations there was a feeling that some clarity of the scope of the project was missing.

I’m a marketer, and this project was for my public speaking business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Busy studio?

I needed to create my website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially had a call to talk about the steps of the project. Busy studio asked about me, my job, and other details to create the website. They took care of the design and the UX. Additionally, they offered maintenance and hosting.

I worked with Julia (Editor & Partner) and Mary (Art Director & Partner).

How did you come to work with Busy studio?

A friend who had previously worked with them recommended them. They really liked them, so I did my own research and looked at their reviews on Clutch and other resources. I liked their work, so I contacted them. We met, and I felt they’d be able to do the project for me.

How much have you invested in them?

I spent approximately $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them from June–September 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They wanted to do a great job, which was essential for me. Overall, working with them was a great experience.

How did Busy studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They met my deadline and stayed within the budget. Busy studio was also very communicative. We used Notion and a popular Russian messaging tool for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very friendly and interested in the project; they wanted to know all the details. Although they were a small studio, they appreciated every client. Busy studio did everything in the best way possible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything was fine.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Feel free to communicate openly. Don’t be shy; they’ll listen to all your requirements and comments. Additionally, give them feedback; they really appreciate it.

I’m the founder and CEO of Glagol; we help people prepare public speeches for various occasions and do one-on-one consulting and other educational activities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Busy studio?

At the time, I didn't have any designers on my team, and I needed to create a visual identity for the company. After that, I needed to make several landing pages for educational courses using that new brand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Busy Studio did branding and web development for us. They started by asking me what I wanted, did some research, and created several mood boards and examples, allowing us to pinpoint what worked for us and what didn’t. After that, they made several prototypes, which we discussed several times, and they would work with our comments. They then delivered a PDF document with the brand guideline and the additional materials we could use later. Overall, they had a nice sprint-based workflow, were quick to respond, and always double-checked their work.

I interacted with two people from their team, including a project manager and a designer.

How did you come to work with Busy Studio?

They were referred to me by my friends. I looked at their previous projects, and I liked their general design style, which was modern, so I decided to give them my project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $5,000 with them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We have a 4% conversion rate, thanks to them. Having a brand guideline has also helped us reduce the time needed for creating our content. I used to make my landing pages easily on Tilda; the UX on that platform is basic, which was good since I'm not a designer, but with the brand identity that Busy Studio created, it was even easier to make the landing pages.

How did Busy Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very sharp and organized and always made summaries after each call, which I appreciated. If there were any delays from our side, they'd kindly remind me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive things about their work were their organized workflow, communication, and ability to quickly understand what we wanted our brand to be perceived with its tone of voice.

They're also great at raising the right questions for crafting the general outcome of the work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Give them a try and attend the first meeting with them.

I am the managing partner at BEsmart consulting agensy. We are helping IT teams in improving their soft skills.

For what projects/services did your company hire Busy studio?

We have created our main page three years ago by ourselvs. It was made using standart instruments of tilda and focused on an old product we've created due to a COVID-19 pandemic. It was drammaticaly outdated and wasn't showcasing any of our current services.

SOLUTION

How did you select Busy studio and what were the deciding factors?

Maria has already proven herself as a talented and responsible design professional when we created some PowerPoint presentations for our clients in partnership. And when we decided to redesign our website and found out that she also has a skillful editor in her team, we were sure to choose Busy as a contractor for this project.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We've started our work by a deep interview conducted by the Busy team during which they asked questions about our company identity, vision, products and plans. After that they have prepared an incredibly appealing prototype and after a couple of changes we agreed on a development timeline.

We were impressed by the accuracy and responsibility of the Busy team. And we have managed to follow this timeline pretty precisely.

How many resources from the Busy studio team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total, we worked with two people: a web designer and an editor. Busy were also using a translators services to help as to localize our page

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In the end, our hole team was satisfied by the product and the communication with the Busy. We are already seeing the effectiveness of the solution due to a much better web statistics and 15% increase in a number of b2b leads per month

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Busy team was open to make changes on the way. They kept the balance between changing product to our request and sometimes preventing us from implementing not the optimal solutions by carefully explaining their idea and the expertise it was based on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were happy to work with professionals. They were ready to take the initiative and give us the result we imagined and dreamed of.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't thing there was anything to improve to be honest.
