My name is Jeff Neto and I am the founder of Verropay, a fintech startup that focuses on group payments through a mobile application and API. Verropay, "Group pay, your way": www.verropay.com

For what projects/services did your company hire Bunch Consulting, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop an MVP of the Verropay mobile application that we could prove out and have users test it for feedback. Bunch Consulting did an excellent job with designing the functional prototype and we were able to gather important data from users on the apps function.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The reason for choosing Bunch Consulting was mainly because of their great team of knowledgeable individuals in both app and business development. They provide us with the development services we required in a professional but also quick pace.

The scope of the Verropay project was laid out with different milestones to hit. We first wanted to understand users' initial response to using a group payment application since it has not been widely used before. So, we focused on developing an MVP version of the application and have a group of individuals test it out.

We then understood what changes to the app design were needed from the testing process and went back to correct what areas were needed to change to improve the UX. We also have been working on getting more people familiar with Verropay and now focusing on social media to spread awareness on the development of the first group payment application.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

At Bunch Consulting they have several resources available to help develop different aspects of your business concept. We worked with many individuals who had a background in app development, project management, and UX/UI design.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to understand how the Verropay app would function in a real-world application and gain feedback. Bunch Consulting helped reach the goals necessary to understand how the application would function with users and made the experience effortless.

Bunch Consulting uses a variety of tools for getting the necessary project requirements completed. We would frequently use Slack for communication and discussing project tasks. Email communication was also greatly used, and we were able to share information with one another quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail is greatly above our expectations, and it truly helped with making a great app design and allowed the development process to be straightforward.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall, I found the team at Bunch Consulting to be very well organized and professional in the way they consulted us on the Verropay app. We do look forward to continuing our relationship with Bunch Consulting and will recommend them to other individuals looking to get their business concept started.

I'm the CTO of Content Status. We provide a SaaS tool that automates product page content auditing, validation, editing, and monitoring for retailers, brands, and partners. Business teams get insights to maximizing sales, and minimizing returns.

Our initial application was built out with several different concepts in-mind. As with any MVP (minimal viable product), we had our issues with scale, infrastructure, and feature set.

How did you select Bunch Consulting and what were the deciding factors?

We evaluated several different Software Development firms. After having a conversation with Anton, and understand our problem - he was quickly able to provide the support we needed.

We had several meetings to discuss the technology used (React, Typescript, Node, GCP) and the needs of the team. After coming up with some job descriptions - Anton was able to start looking for the necessary resources. Once found, and accepted to the project we went right into our work. Almost immediately the new team member would start contributing in our Sprints.

I've worked directly with Anton to source the right mix of talent and skill level to meet our needs. Depending on the timing of the project, we had a mix of Junior & Mid level software developers. Additionally, we also had a business analyst and quality assurance tester.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to meet our 2020 and 1st half of 2021 Roadmap milestones.

We coordinated using Slack, daily stand-ups, scrum/planning, and ad-hoc meetings as needed. We utilized Jira for pretty much all the documentation and planning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Anton and team have a unique style of collaborating. They are very receptive to feedback and modification as we grew our tech stack and roadmap.
