What challenge were you trying to address with Broscorp?

We’re a young company that needed help with data manipulation and beta handling. We required more development resources.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We incorporated Broscorp into our business, allowing them full access to our processes and task management system in Jira. Throughout the engagement, we’ve given them numerous tasks that involve our data. We gave them guidelines on how we wanted them integrated, and they come up with solutions within those boundaries. They managed that using AWS to provide a data lake solution and reporting system.

Once they produce the code, we review everything and build the product. We run it through our internal QA processes.

What is the team composition?

They have a team of six, but we’re primarily working with Danny (CEO). He tasks one of his junior developers occasionally.

How did you come to work with Broscorp?

I put a request out through one of the various freelancer websites. I believe it was UpWork. After putting down specifications of the type of group we were looking for, Broscorp was the best out of the ones I ended up talking to.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested around £6,000 (approximately $7,760 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Broscorp started in October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team at Broscorp has delivered everything that we needed. They’re always coming up with solutions. I’ve worked with other developers that have come into problems that just give up. Broscorp’s team comes back with options to solve any issues, allowing us to make the final decision.

How did Broscorp perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, their team is extremely organized. They’re well-structured, asking all of the right questions to ensure they’re working correctly. We use Slack and Google Meet for communication. They’re incredibly responsive, particularly 24 hours a day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team at Broscorp has gone out of their way to understand our business. They know exactly what we’re trying to deliver to our customers. Their team has become part of the company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing that they can do to improve. Broscorp is the best and most reliable contractor we’ve had.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest and open. Trust their team. It’s difficult when you’re letting someone else look after your baby, but they seem to be a trustworthy group of guys.

We had a very good experience with Broscorp. They are a very committed bunch of people, really going to great lengths to create a deep understanding of customer needs and deliver the best product within time and budget constraints. We hope to continue the cooperation with the Broscorp and definitely recommend the company to others.

Project management was effective, including communication, task definition, ongoing communication and issue resolution, delivery and reporting. This is one of the strongest sides of the company.

Their willingness to help the client is impressive. As well, their communication and ability to go the extra mile are important.

Can sharpen the service proposition further by narrowing the range of technologies and / or detecting better customer needs.

The goals were to meet multiple requirements around creating surveys, storing data, and producing reports.

Broscorp were selected from an initial list of 15 vendors. They provided the best responses / project plans along with a reasonable price.

Set up database in the cloud, link it with Access, create a custom web interface to a survey platform that allows response codification, bring the data to a BI reporting tool.

So far this is enabling us to show high quality professional output that is attracting new business. We expect that soon, it will become active to service clients and generate repeat business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I would highly recommend the flexible, customer-centric, dedicated approach we experienced with Broscorp. It was a very effective working relationship that was both agile and rigorous to ensure an excellent delivery.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I think the programming and delivery talent is very impressive - the ability to find solutions to many requirements exceeded our expectations. The management is clear and honest. The team has integrity, reliability and earned our trust.

Little to improve - possibly more focus on the user experience in addition to the excellent client focus.

I’m a co-founder and Vice President at Inovvo Singapore, a boutique big data solutions provider. We focus on analytics, data science, and machine learning for telecommunication operators. Further specialties include digital transformation, digital profiling, monetization, and end-to-end customer experience.

We initially hired them for short-term development work but have continued to work with them regularly for the past two years because of their good work. Most of their projects have revolved around real-time data from various open-source technologies, and database and UI design.

They were brought on to deliver a real-time network monitoring platform with an exceptional UX.

How did you select this vendor?

I used to work with Anton (Lead Software Engineer, Broscorp) at a different company, and he was always technically strong, meticulous, and able to produce complex deliverables on time. Broscorp has proven they share the same values as its co-founder.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Initially, they developed a nearly real-time data ingestion and aggregation backend to manage a high volume of telecommunications network data. They’ve also developed the UI for our Cyclops platform, which focuses on network performance monitoring.

What was the team composition?

Anton and Daniel (Lead Software Engineer, Broscorp) are the main developers, but they’re supported by other staff who work on UI design and experience.

Broscrop developed a mobile application (ios and android) for the immigrants that will help them to change different currencies into local Australia currency (AUD). Broscorp has developed the mockup model, business structure and business logic in the app, plus program architecture. Also they developed a back office to simplify accountants work and to configure all needed reports for business owners.
