Overall, I'm very satisfied with the collaboration. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be to anticipate certain platform-specific constraints earlier in the process — especially around app store requirements or in-app purchase validations. That said, the team was quick to react and fix any issues once they arose, which I really appreciated.

• Outcome 1: delivering candidates who match our search criteria. Since we have a development team at our headquarters as well, we knew exactly what we were looking for. Brilworks provided candidates who were perfectly in line with our expectations
• Outcome 2: quality of employees. We are perfectly satisfied with the work which is delivered from the developers from Brilworks. The developers are highly skilled, take responsibility and come with initiative.

Mainly, the developerd from Brilworks are working on new features for our software. However, since we are fully up to speed with them, they also assist with topics as stability, scalability and more. They fully operate as employees, which was a big condition for our company to extend our development team with a third party.

We had a kickoff meeting for each phase of the project and then bi-weekly calls to review progress and discuss the work. I appreciate how they truly try to understand your business and goals.

Veerendra has been our main point of contact as a manager but we've interacted with multiple team members from UI Designers to Dev and even leadership.

Clients really like the new website, and we are eager to launch the new and improved customer-facing software that Brilworks has developed and designed.

Veerendra has been great to work with in particular. It’s rare that a developer has both the technical skills and the business mindset that Veerendra does. I see him as more of a business partner and he is constantly thinking of how to improve the platform. Ultimately this led me to build a long-term relationship with the Brilworks team.

Our company was developing web-based software for a client in the logistics industry. We were looking to add a Java developer to the development team to speed up the development and help us meet the targets.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brilworks Software provides us with a Java developer who helps us build our end client’s web-based software. The solution is for a fulfillment company in the logistics field, and it tracks inventory and manages things like refunds, cancellations, and other items. They’re helping us build different versions of the software. We’ve built versions 6.1 and 6.2 together, and now we’re in version 6.3. Brilworks Software helps us release a version every two weeks.

Once we finish the development phase, we’ll get clarity on whether we’ll be moving into the next milestone with Brilworks Software or if the client wants to go into a maintenance contract.

We quantify the project's success based on the end customer's satisfaction with the work. So far, everything is on track, and Brilworks Software has helped us hit all the targets we set out to achieve. Their developer has met all their targets, enabling us to release each new version on time.

We manage the project on our side, and Brilworks Software's performance is good. For communication, we use Google Meet for daily calls.

Brilworks Software's backend development results are quite good — they meet the expectations we've set out.

There's nothing they need to improve.

Set clear expectations before the start of the engagement. When things are clear from both sides, you know what to expect, and the engagement can go much smoother.

The project requires pulling our data via the back end API to display dynamic product data on the front end, and also using our headless CMS to make content and style changes to UI and UX. This is an ongoing project

We're pleased with the deliverables from their team. The UX/UI serves as the foundation for the platform we have built and developed in-house. The platform is live and operational and the feedback and sales from customers is growing rapidly. Their work also reflects the vision we have from the start, helping us create a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate mobile-first design responsive ecommerce platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The prjoect manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive to messages, and provides us with frequent updates and fast revisions. Communicaton is all on group chat, which is very effective

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge of implementing front end and UI/UX is powerful. They understand our platform, and can work with our API, and can make the changes we need quickly and to a high standard

There are no big issues or problems. Our company as a team has not usually been able to work with outsourced deevelopers, but on this occasion it works very well, which is a credit to Lavesh and his team

We did most of our project management on Monday, a project monitoring tool, for our day-to-day communication we used slack. They were very responsive and always made sure to get back to you if they were away.

The most important thing I noticed is that this company DELIVERS on time.

I would like to have more reviews from their team leaders on the developer's works, usually, if I ask them to have an internal review on a feature or a hot-fix, they are on it

We were searching for specific skill sets in bluetooth, firmware development and sensors. Brilworks had the experience we required.

We went into this development effort relying heavily on the experience of the Brilworks PCB team. Their needs analysis and quick prototyping was instrumental in defining a solid development plan, which has resulted in a commercially ready product. We continue to work closely with Brilworks as we go through product testing and expand our features.

We worked with an overall project lead who performed the needs analysis, design and early prototyping. Additional team members were added as needed for the firmware development.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The PCB development and firmware has successfully completed testing and fulfils our expectations. We are now expanding the scope of the project as we add additional features.

Resource management was very efficient. Over the course of two years we had various sprints that required a lot of cooperative work. Even with an eight hour time differences Brilworks was very accommodating when it came to staff availability. Our primary communication tool is Skype.

Cycleverse is developing software at the same time Brilworks has been developing the hardware. They have been great at delivering prototypes and samples on a timeline that has supported our development.
