This project started as a CMS-driven website with the intent to consolidate two existing outdated websites that no longer suited our organization's growth plans. This included moving from a Wordpress-powered CMS to a Drupal-driven CMS to accommodate our content strategy.
The scope of the project then grew to move our existing ecommerce site (which was part of one of the outdated sites) from Magento to Shopify. Brainvire was critical in showcasing the inability of Drupal to connect to Magento seamlessly, helping us solidify the need to expand scope for our customers usability.
Brainvire is also hosting our AWS server, helping with firewall load-balancing, and working with our tax services to ensure compliance.

Harsh was an excellent project manager. He was very communicative, open, and willing to help at any time. He worked exceptionally well with our team and was able to effectively communicate our needs to his team whenever confusion arose.
We communicated both through email and google chat, where we received quick responses, despite being in very different time zones.
The whole team was very willing to adapt and adjust their schedules to be available for us and the many moving pieces of this project.

It was difficult to find time to meet when we had teammates from US Pacific-time joining the calls.
A few months into the project, we transitioned project managers. All transcripts and documents from the original project manager were no longer easily accessible when we changed project managers. The new project manager was extremely helpful in trying to mitigate this once realized.

Brainvire was originally brought on to help us transition from Magento Open Source to Adobe Commerce. This project was finished ahead of schedule and under budget. Since then, they have become an invaluable partner by augmenting our staff to bring their expertise and knowledge of our system so that we did not lose momentum as our staff left the company.
Our inital project was to bring both of our existing websites rev-a-shelf.com and trescolighting.com to Adobe Commerce. They worked with us to marry the two backend systems into 1 and help us transition existing code to work within the Adobe Commerce Framework. We expected this transition to take 6 months. With their help we were able to get it done in 4. Since then we have improved site speed and have had 0 downtime on our platforms. Code was also merged so that we are now able to do one set of code changes to deploy changes to both sites at once. Brainvire is now an integral part of the Rev-A-Shelf Digital Development strategy helping us launch 5 additional websites and continuing to work on new smaller projects to improve our user experience and keep up with security updates as they are released.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our intial measurables were to move our websites to the Adobe Commerce platform without losing functionality or lose business functionality from our users. To track progress we set up communication via teams and 2 weekly meetings so that our in house team and Brainvire to openly and quickly collaborate. We created three environments, one for development integration, one for production staging and one for production so that we could move and merge code as different phases were complete. using Azure we tracked indivudual tasks and their progress towards the end goal.

Brainvire did a great job handling work from both teams and merging it into our repository so that the project progressed on time, ahead of time, to meet all benchmarks set at the beginning of the project. I'm the operations manager for Alarkan General Trading FZE, a free zone company for B2B export customers. Our core business is automotive spare parts, mainly for genuine Japanese brands like Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Lexus. We have an import-export business and provide our services in the UAE to the local market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We needed help with e-commerce platform development. Our goal was to provide our customers with ease of access to our system, real-time prices and availability, and the ability to place their orders; it was mainly for B2B customers.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc developed our e-commerce platform from scratch. They took the UX/UI design from our existing website, used Adobe Magento to build the platform, and integrated e-commerce into the website. The payment gateway is still underway because the project was done in phases. The first phase was to go live with the website. Existing customers can log in and create accounts to see the prices and availability, and place their orders. The second phase will start next month and include the payment gateways, credit facilities, and integration with our ERP system. They also modified the design of our existing website and will include SEO services in the second phase.
What is the team composition?
We were initially in contact with Mr. Chintan, their CEO. Then we met the project manager and two to three sales teammates. Once we signed the contract, we were introduced to Dipesh, the developer and a project manager. Between 10 to 15 people were included in the whole project, from the project manager to the developer and the project lead.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
Adobe recommended three or four partners to us. After a couple of meetings with everyone, we chose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $80,000–$90,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We signed the contract in October 2024. The first phase was completed, and we went live on February 15, 2025. We have already signed a contract with them for the second phase, which will start in May 2025. So, the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The team is amazing. They are unique, and we are happy with them. We are pleased that we chose them. They are pretty supportive regarding complex scenarios and achieving our goals. The team assigned the right people to us and helped us understand how the system works and how we can manage many things. We asked them to implement some tough stuff in the system for us, which wasn’t possible by default in Magento. However, they managed to do it for us.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
When it comes to the project and the deadlines, you cannot consistently achieve them because of complex situations that might occur during the project. But they achieved the deadlines 95% of the time. Complex situations might occur during the project; 5% of the time, they didn’t meet the deadline because of us.
Between the integration and the first phase, we realized some complex requirements. We did not discover them beforehand, but realized some things and informed them. Meanwhile, we learned some things when the project was in process and told them. They managed to do it for us, but it slightly changed the deadline.
We don't use any project management tools. I have my tools to see the progress and communicate with the project management team; it’s pretty basic, but it works for me. We communicate with the team most of the time through Google Meet.
We had some online offshore meetings. The developer also came to the UAE to meet us and spent one month with us for the exploration and development phases. We also acquired the development team to be on-site, so they spent one and a half months with us. And even after going live, we had 10 days with them on-site support. So, for one and a half months, they were with us. And with the other team, we were having meetings on Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their top-notch support level and understanding of complex scenarios are their most distinguished qualities. Their developers and the whole team are pretty experienced. They suggested a few things that enhanced our website performance.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We didn’t notice anything in the first phase. We'll see in the next phase.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
To achieve better performance and results, you have to follow up and be on top of things. You need to follow up regularly. That’s what we did with them. We had weekly follow-ups and arranged meetings to meet their team in the UAE or offshore. It’s critical to follow up on each point, note all the pending points, acquire deadlines from them, and follow up accordingly.

We've had multiple meetings with Brainvire throughout the project. During our first meeting, we discussed our business and what we were looking for. Once we decided to hire them, we had a second meeting, during which we provided them with more details about our company.
After providing Brainvire with all the details, we started sharing daily emails. During this period, the team focused on planning the project for our company. When the plan was approved by our company, Brainvire started working on the actual project.

Thanks to Brainvire's work, we've seen a tremendous increase in traffic on both our retail stores and our website. We've also noticed an improvement in our social media engagement and customer communication with our stores. For example, we've seen an increase in phone calls and emails from customers who want to reach out to us. Overall, our engagement and traffic have increased by around 70%, which is tremendous.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
Our communication has been via email on a daily basis. They're always communicating with us and sending weekly and monthly reports. Whenever they have a question about whatever they're working on, they're great at communicating with us and staying on top of the project. We also have weekly meetings, and whatever we discuss in those, Brainvire delivers and takes care of our requests right away. We use Google Docs for document management and Zoom for our weekly meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
For each task we've worked on together, Brainvire has great teammates who handle it well. They're all great at what they do, and they've put together a great project for our business. They're all very involved, which has been helpful for our project to succeed.
Brainvire has been great at both our website development and marketing, so I'm very impressed with the results. I'm not able to tell if their strength lies more in one of the two areas because both sides of the project have resulted in positive results regarding sales and customer engagement. Their strength in both areas is very high.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Every week, Brainvire has been improving things as a team. The longer we work with them, the more they get involved with our business. Moreover, the more we capture things and follow their suggestions, the more we've been improving as a team as well.
I don't feel there's a particular area in which Brainvire needs to improve. As every week goes by, we've been improving and knowing what our business is and how we can keep growing it.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Stay in constant communication with them and stay on top of it. This requires responding to emails and attending the meetings. This approach will help both sides, allowing Brainvire to complete projects and allowing you to get the results you're looking for.
