Brainvire has been instrumental in the changes that we have made in an effort to grow our business this year.  One key deliverable was that their development team rebuilt the front end of our website.  This was a pretty involved task.  Arpit, Harsh, and the rest of the development team were very responsive, handled tasks quickly, and took feedback well on this project.  

We are pleased with the new content they have created and look forward to continuing to work with them as we grow our website and make changes to it.  We also worked closely with a marketing team consisting of Jaymine, Anuj, and Jinansh, and others.  This team has also worked diligently to improve our website's search engine optimization.  

They have been very responsive and communicative and we have developed a good working relationship.  We've also had help from Ranjit, Sandeep, and others that I may be forgetting.  The Brainvire team has conducted themselves with professionalism throughout.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On the web development side, we now have a website that is better looking and more customizable.  We now have the capability to do pretty much whatever we want to do with our homepage, header/footer, banners, search functions, and other pages.

On the marketing side, we have been working with that team to improve our tagging, search functions, and overall search engine optimization.  Because of the constant line of communication that has been maintained, we are able to suggest specific product lines that we feel should be targeted and Brainvire is able to tell us certain keywords and wordings that are searched more often.

The project management on both the Web Development side and the Marketing side have been outstanding.  Each team has responded quickly to our requests and they have done pretty much everything that they said they would do within the timeframe that they said they would do it.  If something wasn't done as we wanted, they took feedback well and made changes accordingly and quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Brainvire Infotech Inc's responsiveness and constant communication impressed me the most.  Also, they do have a variety of different skilled types of labor for software-related projects, many of which we have not yet utilized.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Brainvire Infotech Inc could have done differently?

On a few of the tasks we have contracted them for, we have had to re-explain what we needed and have Brainvire alter some of the things that they have implemented.  Ultimately, they were very patient and willing to make changes and we were pleased with the end result and some of this may be a lack of clarity in our explanations, which we will strive to do better about.

Brainvire Infotech Inc was very easy to work with and became a natural extension of our own team.

Invoicing - in our contracts with Brainvire we specify key information that is supposed to be included on each invoice.  We have a number of different projects with them and the invoices repeatedly did not contain the information requested. This resulted in invoices going to the wrong people and wrong projects which caused a lot of extra work on our side.

Our e-commerce was based on Magento, and we wanted to upgrade it to Adobe Commerce. We also wanted to consolidate all our sites into one. We had multiple installations of Magento and wanted to combine those into one admin. We also were seeking to migrate to the enterprise version of Magento and expand all our websites.

Brainvire Infotech Inc has been responsible for our e-commerce development and migration and the setup and integration of Adobe Commerce. The team has been responsible for data integrity, website optimization, and costume module development. Brainvire Infotech Inc has migrated our data from Magento Open Source to Adobe Commerce, ensuring the new site matched our prior one with all the functionality and changes we sought. 

Brainvire Infotech Inc is also responsible for web optimization to ensure we have the right product scheme and the pages are built to the best standards. After launching our website, Brainvire Infotech Inc works on monitoring the site and identifying functionalities that aren't working properly. The team fixes bugs and issues.

We work with a staff of around eight teammates from Brainvire Infotech Inc, including Chintan (CEO) and a couple of project managers, for different aspects of the project, such as frontend UI and backend development, including Dipen (Project Manager). We also work with UI designers, backend developers, and a customer relations manager who interacts with me to relay my thoughts and needs.

I contacted Brainvire Infotech Inc through Adobe Commerce because we were considering migrating to this platform. I was looking for development companies and hired a different service provider for the same project, but I had to fire them and work in-house. After that, I started looking for a new service provider, and Adobe Commerce reached out to me. I decided it was a good time to switch to the enterprise version, and our sales were picking up.

We decided to make that transition to grow into a larger website and sales. I told Adobe Commerce that I was having a hard time finding the right development partner, and the team sent recommendations for me to review. I spoke to two companies and settled on Brainvire Infotech Inc because Chintan came to my office to meet me and was personable. We discussed my needs, and Brainvire Infotech Inc came up with a proposal. The team had a good reputation throughout the industry.

We first contacted Brainvire Infotech Inc in June 2023 and started working on marketing, but I realized my company wasn't ready for it. We stopped working with the marketing team and decided to work on development beginning in October 2023. The team launched our e-commerce in March 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I haven't had a chance to dive into the site's metrics since it was recently launched. However, sales are slowly picking up, which is important. Our new site is more efficient, and our internal team is able to work on it and keep our products updated since all our websites are connected. The site's design is cleaner and easier to use. Our users have an easier time checking out, especially when working in conjunction with Adobe's payment services, which is one of the focuses for switching from Magento. 

Overall, we have a more streamlined check-out process and more payment options. The team has integrated PayPal and ensured it works appropriately since we've had compatibility issues at the beginning. The entire Brainvire Infotech Inc's team is good and professional.

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Brainvire Infotech Inc's project management is great. On my side, work has been delayed at times since I'm managing the project by myself. The team is on top of tasks and is very gracious and understanding. I collaborate with Brainvire Infotech Inc via spreadsheets, and the team is communicative and keeps tasks updated. The team is well-managed and organized.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Chintan (CEO). He's personable and likes to meet all of his clients to form a relationship with them. He makes me feel valued, and I haven't seen that in other companies. He's very easy to reach, and whenever I meet him, he comes bearing a present from his culture, which is nice. I also want to highlight Dipen's (Project Manager) work, who is very responsive and works diligently to ensure my needs and concerns are met. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive aspect of Brainvire Infotech Inc is that they have several services within one company. The team offers front- and backend development, UI design, graphic design, and marketing, and they're good in each area. I haven't found many companies that offer all of these services under one roof. Brainvire Infotech Inc is fortunate to have all those services within the company and is under great leadership. Chintan has a good eye for work quality and employees. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Brainvire Infotech Inc can benefit from using project management software or an online platform rather than just relying on spreadsheets. The team can benefit from having a central location to monitor the project's progress and visualize which tasks need to be done versus which are completed.

Additionally, I'm flexible with my schedule; however, the team needs more staff available to work within the US timezone if they want to work with more clients from the US. That way, the schedule won't be a burden for the team or the customer. Brainvire Infotech Inc is located in India, and we're always looking to accommodate our schedules. Although the team has offices in the US, I've worked a lot with the team from India, more than with the US team. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest customers be prepared when engaging with Brainvire Infotech Inc and designate dedicated persons to work with the team and provide them with the information they need. Brainvire Infotech Inc works quickly, and the more the client can keep up, the quicker their project will be completed. I think this team is a blessing for every client looking to complete and publish a project. My advice for clients is to ensure they have the dedicated staff and time to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc.

I’m the regional marketing manager of a company that manufactures and promotes a wide range of building materials used in the construction industry, including wall assemblies and ceiling systems. We wanted to create an application to manage a loyalty program for our end users, and we were looking for a vendor to help us with the development. The program needed to have a system to gain points and redeem them to have more accessibility with our end target segment.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire Infotech Inc designed and developed a loyalty program application from scratch. The brief of the project was that we didn't have access to our target audience since we had direct contact with one distributor, but we didn't have access to their customers. We focused on creating an application for our end clients to purchase products for the paint industry.  

We initially provided Brainvire Infotech Inc with a comprehensive scope of work, including a request for quotation. We worked hard to create the scope with our internal audit team to document our initial requirements. Brainvire Infotech Inc created the app's wireframes and user stories and was responsible for development. 

Once users installed our app, we ensured they received a QR code they could scan and be directed to our portal, gaining points for their purchase. Once users reach certain points, they can exchange them for one of the available gifts on our marketplace.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although Brainvire Infotech Inc has finished our product, we still need to modify some production technicalities for the app to generate the QR codes automatically. We have around 300,000 SKUs each month that need to be branded with a QR code in order to be eligible for the loyalty program. We purchased a printing machine from a Chinese supplier, but the delivery was delayed. 

This unplanned situation caused the delay in launching our app, so I don't have quantitative feedback at the moment. However, Brainvire Infotech Inc delivered a final product that met our initial requirements. 

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

I had previously managed different development projects and knew it was common to have changes during the process and deviations from the scope. The project was delayed around 2-3 months but didn't represent a stopper or change in our process. Brainvire Infotech Inc resolved issues efficiently and tracked project tasks using Microsoft Azure, Agile methodology, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp.

I want to highlight Ashar's work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we went live, the QR codes were generated by our servers; however, they were originally meant to be printed on a sticker. We found this situation to be difficult to resolve at the time. Brainvire Infotech Inc suggested an intelligent way to resolve the issue and another way to feed the machine, recommending an online solution to generate the QR codes. Brainvire Infotech Inc made all the required code changes and enhancements to the control panel in a swift time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Brainvire Infotech Inc performed the project follow-up on different dashboards and platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Teams. Sometimes, we missed details in the communication, so it'd be nice if the team could streamline the follow-up process and use one dashboard.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

This was a turnkey project for Brainvire Infotech Inc, where they had to create our app's wireframes. Other customers could work with other companies to create the wireframes and let Brainvire Infotech Inc act as a supervisor company and manage development. I think it would be helpful.

The previous company we were working with was not successful with the development work, but Brainvire Infotech Inc was able to turn that around and take it from a failure to success. They’ve been completing all the work, and we’re happy with the results. In our line of work, it isn't easy to understand the scope of work and deliver, and Brainvire Infotech Inc has been able to do that for us. 

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Some of the work has taken longer than expected, but that was on our end, not theirs. We’ve had a few bugs, but Brainvire Infotech Inc has been able to solve them. For the most part, they deliver on time and within budget. We use Microsoft Azure for project management and have scheduled weekly calls with our project managers. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are extremely transparent about issues and offer solutions. Brainvire Infotech Inc has also come up with suggestions that might be outside the initial scope to ensure a better experience. 

Brainvire Infotech Inc’s solutions are creative. We’ve worked with other companies that will continue to work within the initial scope of work even if it is wrong, but Brainvire Infotech Inc does not do that. They’re flexible and ensure that what they’re building aligns with your goals. They also don’t have tons of turnover, which we see in many companies. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

In one instance, it took a while to fix our source code, and on the fifth attempt, Brainvire Infotech Inc decided to start from scratch. We don’t know if that could have been avoided, but maybe if there was a technical advisor, it could have been.

They’re an excellent company all around. The team is diligent and is more focused on ensuring the work is high-quality than being paid. Their team checks in with you from many levels, and their employees are very engaged.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used to have up to 200–300 monthly inquiries for support tickets before engaging with Brainvire Infotech Inc. Now we’re down to 20% of that or less, and our support volume has decreased by at least 75%. Our user churn rate has dropped from 3% to 2.4%, and fewer users are leaving the service. Brainvire Infotech Inc has delivered high-quality UI design work and eliminated several issues. I like our colorful design and am really happy with the product.

Our software performs faster and doesn't hang up anymore in certain areas. Brainvire Infotech Inc has cleaned our backend code and cleared thousands of outdated code lines. I used to spend 6-8 hours a day writing code, and now, I spend maybe a few hours a week. Now, I have time for other tasks like hiring and managing different teams, demonstrating the most significant impact of this project has been freeing up executive time for me as a CEO.   

I also like that Brainvire Infotech Inc works on two parallel projects. Prior to engaging with Brainvire Infotech Inc, I had a development team that was hard to manage and didn't deliver work on time. We had a lot of communication issues.

Brainvire Infotech Inc meets deadlines and stays on budget. I've provided a budget, and the team sticks to it. We have regular meetings twice a week via Microsoft Teams and communicate via emails and calls. We try to meet daily with someone from their team to clarify work and manage the project using Jira tickets. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by Brainvire Infotech Inc's excellent communication. When the team worked on our UI, we had some downtime because of the updates. Brainvire Infotech Inc has been able to work in my timezone, and we got through 150 bugs within 2-3 weeks as a group. While the previous team I worked with took several months to do the same work. 

Are there any areas they could improve?
I've already discussed this with Brainvire Infotech Inc, but I'd like to gather customer feedback before building a new module. My company doesn't have a good feedback system, and I think we could've backlogged some projects if we had better customer feedback. My only suggestion is to ensure there is enough customer demand before we undertake a larger assignment and focus more on stabilizing the existing product.

I recommend having a clear understanding of what you want and talking to your customers to know what features they need. I also suggest having a list of tasks and a clear vision when engaging with Brainvire Infotech Inc so they can fill in the blanks. What was the scope of their involvement?

We outsource all of our mobile app and web development work to Brainvire Infotech Inc. The team uses React Native and ReactJS as their main tools to build every product and its properties, along with web optimization for any browser. The project is an ongoing process where Brainvire Infotech Inc helps us develop our platforms on a project basis for our customers and us.

In addition, Brainvire Infotech Inc’s team helps us with the Google Play Store and iOS App Store deployment. Moreover, they provide additional maintenance and even marketing services.

What was the team composition? 

We work with an account manager, a project manager, a QA tester, and a team of developers from Brainvire Infotech Inc’s staff. The management team is always the same, but the developers change occasionally depending on the projects.

One of our department heads used to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc for other projects and referred them to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We normally invest ₹1 million (approximately $12,000 USD) with them every month, but it depends on the projects we currently have.

We started working together in January 2019, and the engagement is still ongoing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?

We wanted to accomplish website design changes and had some targets and milestones to hit. Our website had a low conversion rate, so we hired another team to redesign our website and Brainvire Infotech Inc for web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire Infotech Inc changed our website’s theme and executed the design the third-party company created using Shopify Liquid and Java. The Brainvire Infotech Inc team used GitHub as a repository. They customized our standard website template to how we wanted it, including the homepage, 20–30 collection pages, and our product details page. 

As for the process, we first had a kickoff meeting for discovery purposes; we discussed the milestones and targets. Then, Brainvire Infotech Inc developed the website. After the initial delivery, we found issues with the initial design regarding development constraints. We collaborated to find solutions for those issues, and Brainvire Infotech Inc applied the changes. 

The website included our phone case collection with a filtering system. We originally had a very rudimentary system that wasn’t intuitive. Brainvire Infotech Inc was tasked with laying it out correctly to make it easier to navigate, enabling filtering by phone models and colors.

We worked with an analyst, a main developer, another developer, and a customer support representative from Brainvire Infotech Inc. 

How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?

I found them through a previous company I worked for. Our ERP provider recommended Brainvire Infotech Inc to customize the system. That project didn’t work out because the company I was working for didn’t select them, but I always had Brainvire Infotech Inc on the back of my mind because of their professionalism and astuteness. 

When this opportunity came about, I reached out to my previous contact from Brainvire Infotech Inc, whom I had kept as a reference, and they directed me toward another point of contact. We had a meeting to let them know our requirements, and Brainvire Infotech Inc came back with a quote and agreement that indicated who would be responsible for what. They offered good value and displayed professionalism again, so we selected them for this project.

We spent around $2,400. After we signed the agreement, we paid a 50% deposit.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–October 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We had a 3% increase in our conversion rate. Moreover, our customers found it easier to navigate our website. Although our uptick in traffic was due to an advertising campaign, once users were on the website, their time on the page increased, and they added more items to their carts. Overall, Brainvire Infotech Inc did a very good job with their deliverables and completed everything we requested. 

When we started this project, we wanted to increase sales on our website by increasing conversion and reducing the friction points for our online customers with better UX, interfaces, and images; Brainvire Infotech Inc achieved those goals. The whole team did a really good job — everyone fired on all cylinders and was very helpful. 

How did Brainvire Infotech Inco perform from a project management standpoint?

Brainvire Infotech Inc met our milestones on time and within our requested budget. Moreover, our discovery phase went really smoothly. Their agreement form clearly laid out what they would be responsible for and what we had to do on our side. Often, we find companies that aren’t professional, saying they’ll do something verbally without putting it in writing, while Brainvire Infotech Inc documented everything. 

Midway through the project, we had to have a timeline extension because we needed to alter the scope due to unforeseen issues on our side. We pivoted and agreed on another deadline, which Brainvire Infotech Inc met. The team communicated well on any issues and let us know their progress throughout the process. They used GitHub to track their progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brainvire Infotech Inc's biggest strength was their ability to deliver on our needs. We had many different requests, and the team met all of them with a positive, can-do attitude. Their collaborative approach was also a highlight. Overall, this was one of my best experiences with a service provider.

I can’t think of anything they needed to improve.
