We had just launched in the Ukrainian market and we needed a new website.

They helped us develop a new website from scratch, this also included design. They used WordPress and PHP.

I worked with a designer, a frontend developer, a backend developer, and a project manager.

I received a recommendation from one of our partners who had worked with them previously.

We invested about $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and we completed the development in June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I liked everything that they did. The website looks good and it works well. They fulfilled all of our requirements. 

How did Boostbase Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very effective and knew what to do. From our first meeting, I could tell they were professionals. The project was laid out clearly for me which I appreciated because I don’t have a background in web development. We mostly communicated via email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication was the most impressive. They handled the process seamlessly.

No.

Be clear and honest. Give them as much information as possible, and the project will be a success.

We needed to update our website, and we wanted Boostbase Group to create a new version of it for us.

So far, Bootbase Group has provided us with the design. They are currently working on the development.

There were three people from Boostbase. We had a project manager, UI/UX designer, and an art director.

How did you come to work with Boostbase Group?

I met the founders of Boostbase Group at a business development meetup. We are from the same city and I had a very interesting conversation with the founders. 

During this communication we had with them, I understood that it is very important to develop the website and sales channel and that I needed to make huge update to the website and move in this direction.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent $26,000 USD so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

I met the founders in March 2020, and we started working with them in the middle of April. We are in the development stage.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I like everything Bootbase Group has done. They've completed everything well and I would give them a 10 out of 10. Their workflow was very effective. The team worked on it full-time with me and we had a good cooperation and partnership.

How did Boostbase Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The art director led the project and we had daily communication with her. Once per week, we had a meeting with the whole team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bootbase Group knows exactly what we need and why we need it, and they know how to do it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t see any areas. I think everything has been good.

Follow the recommendations that they give you. It will save time and it will be reasonable.

I am the CEO of the Happy Face startup. Our service allows people to find an overexposure or home hotel for pets. In our catalog, there are both professional home zoological hotels and ordinary people who love pets and are ready to provide overexposure and temporarily look after your pet at home. We collect ratings and real reviews about zoons and hotels. Each zoo passes Happy Face testing.

Our main goal was to make a good brand and a convenient application understandable for everyone

Describe the project in detail.

I am in the overexposure business for more than 10 years already, I decided to move on to the next stage and to create a platform where people could find an overexposure or home hotel for their pets. Unfortunately, I haven’t got experience in the creation of IT products so I was in need of a good partner. Boostbase Group helped me a lot, first of all, we made a research that showed us that we need to focus on the application, then they helped with brand identity and design of the application.

I like the results that we have at the moment, first tests show that we made a good job.

It was great, twice a week we had meetings with the whole team, and each day I talked to the Product Manager and Art Director.

I really liked the combination of creativity and discipline. They love what they do and do it professionally.

I needed branding for my pub and all related products.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal was to make interesting, bright, and unique branding that would attract new visitors and facilitate their return. Boostbase team helped me with the creation of the logo, corporate identity, and all related products for my pub.

I have found their works on the behance.com, I liked everything that I saw on their profile and decided to contact. During a week we discussed what I am looking for, my ideas and after we clarified all possible questions we started to work.

The first thing that we made, was very pleasant and very productive call with Roman and Tetiana. I told what is the uniqueness of my pub, what ideas for positioning I have. After that, we determined the total amount of work and guys divided it into several stages. Then everything was due to agreed stages, Boostbase helped me with the name, logo, brand identity, design of all related products, and website design.

On my project worked 1 designer and I talked directly to Roman and Tetiana, they are both Co-Founders.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As for me, everything is great, I think the main outcome is that people say that they really like the atmosphere in my pub, they tell their friends about it and come back again and again.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very effective, guys are huge professionals, they asked everything that they need and after it created a great pipeline and followed it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I really liked how professional the Boostbase team come to work. At the very beginning, they asked me such questions about which I did not even think before. Answers to these questions gave an understanding of what needs to be done, how it needs to be done and I am sure that it significantly increases the speed of work.

It is complicated to call us a company, I would better call it a community and I am the administrator of this community.

I wanted to create a platform where people who love surfing could find each other, discuss interesting ideas and themes, find new great places for surfing and see the latest local surfing news. I had developers interested in this project but haven’t got designers who could help me with the realization of my idea.

What were your goals for this project?

My main goal was to bring all Australian surfers together in one convenient and useful community.

How did you select this vendor?

I have found Boostbase on upwork.com. I liked their portfolio and decided to talk to them, as a test task I asked them to do a small banner, they made it very cool and very quick, after it, I decided to work with guys.

Boostbase group had to design the whole platform, they had to make it for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile both iOS and Android.

What was the team composition?

I don’t know the exact number of people, but I know that on my project worked several designers and I talked directly to Tetiana, she is an art director and she managed the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I am very satisfied with our cooperation. Before the start of work, I was afraid that there could be issues caused by the time difference and language barrier, but I am very glad that there were absolutely no such issues.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very transparent, fast and creative.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by how quickly these guys understood my ideas and generated very creative and nice variants of design.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As for me, everything is great and there are no areas for improvement.

Very often our customers ask us to either help with design or at list recommend some good design agency. For one of our customers was very important to update the overall corporate identity and web-site. As our company don’t specialize in this area, we had to look for a company that could help us with it.

We made a global marketing campaign for our client and we were in need of a good partner in design who would be with us on the same page and could suggest very interesting creative ideas.

Boostbase Group reached me out by email and after a small test task and a very pleasant Skype call, I decided to work with them.

That time Boostbase helped us with our customer’s website design and corporate identity. At first, we had a call with their creative team where they asked very interesting and important questions, during this call they also suggested the pipeline which we found very attractive and agreed on it. Next time they provided us several variants of corporate identity sketches from which we were delighted and we realized that we don’t need to worry anymore, because these guys go in the right direction.

Most of all I talk to Roman and Tanya. Roman handle all commercial things and Tanya is responsible for the production process. Once a week we made calls with the whole team who worked on our projects to clarify all possible questions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Yes, of course, the deliverables are really great. I can say with confidence that Boostbase team became for us, not just a company that periodically helps us with design, but those guys became for us a serious and strategic partner.

The workflow is very transparent and smooth, we always see the progress of work and can give any comments if needed, so as for me it is very effective.

The design that these guys do is really above and beyond all my and my client’s expectations. They love their work and execute it as well as possible.

In the beginning, I was in the startup accelerator and when I realized that I need help with design I asked experienced guys to suggest a good company. I understood that I need a company, not a freelancer because I had too much work and I needed really the highest quality.

As I wrote a little earlier, we had a problem with the visual design of our product. There was a lot of work, we had to create everything a corporate identity, logo, both UX and UI for our website and application.

I am really satisfied of the Boostbase Group’s work, when I showed design to my colleagues and consultants from accelerator everybody like that a lot.

Before the start of work I just knew that we have a lot of work and I didn’t know from what we should start and it worried me a lot. After we determined the entire scope of work, guys very quickly outlined the sequence and stages of work, then we very efficiently and confidently followed the indicated work schedule.

The most impressive thing for me is their inexhaustible stream of creative ideas.
