I work for Asociación Cultural Azoro which is an organization that does theater workshops for endangered populations in El Salvador. I work as the communications manager as well as an actor in the organization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bonifacio Design?

We needed to create some marketing campaigns and we wanted to develop some online content for social media, and we needed a graphic designer to help us out.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started to develop the whole strategy and worked things out. We are still working together on it.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Gerardo (Owner, Bonifacio Design).

How did you come to work with Bonifacio Design?

We had worked with Gerardo before and we liked his work. Initially, someone had recommended him for a volunteer project we were working on. We found him on Instagram, and he sent us his portfolio along with his website. He had empathy for the topics we were working on and with the strategy in general.

We wanted someone who had an artistic vibe and because of the work we were doing, we wanted someone like him because he is really flexible and is really open with his process.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent less than $5,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Bonifacio Design began in September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have increased our engagement, our likes and followers, and our reach. The people on our social media channels are really interested in visual content and because of Gerardo and his work and our team’s work, we could really work out a really interesting and thoughtful strategy. We are really happy with the results and with everything that is coming up next.

How did Bonifacio Design perform from a project management standpoint?

He has been great. He is 24/7, and we contact him through email or WhatsApp. He is always online and ready to respond. If he isn’t, he will give us whatever time he has and he has been great with time management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He makes us part of his process and we really liked that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything specific on where I think he should improve because everything, in general, has been fine for me.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust his process and have a strong concept throughout the strategy and build powerful images in order to engage with the audience.

I’m a project director at a startup company for education in the financial industry. We help our students to develop skills in financial modeling, accounting, and finance.

We needed someone to help us with promotional videos for our courses.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked on our online courses and the design of the previews and promotion for the course to have some visual background. They also did the design of the main course and the promotional introduction for the course.

We worked with Gerardo (Owner).

How did you come to work with Bonifacio Design?

I was living in El Salvador a few years ago, and I met him when I was just starting with the idea of the project.

I’ve spent less than $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This last project began a month ago. For now, we have finished with the ones I had asked him to help me with, but when I develop new courses, we will work together again.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One of our videos is on Udemy. I have been getting more students. Over the past 18 months, I was getting 15 to 30 students a month, and now I am getting 70 to 80 students. The video has been very important because it captures the attention of students.

How did Bonifacio Design perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very good. Our contact is always on the phone answering my questions. Another thing that I liked is that he was able to listen to feedback and recommendations. He was more than happy to help me improve the quality. In fact, he asked me for feedback and was very happy to provide a good service to be able to help me grow my business and my project. We communicated at least once a day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is very professional and polite. They become your friend when you are working with them. While they’re professional, they also care a lot about the business and what you are doing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I am not sure. I think they’re doing a great job. I don’t know if it is related, but maybe having their website more updated would be good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We were ready with some demos of some other competitors, screenshots so that they could combine all of that and provide a better product by combining all of those things that we were looking at. Be aware of the competition and also provide them with the tools and guidance of what you really want and they will create more from that.

We were deploying a new strategy for our SPMA services which is basically a spin-off of our brand, ebitdash. We needed a specific video because we bought a different website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a 1-minute promotional video for us in English and Spanish. The video explained the services and provided information.

There was just one person.

A friend of mine recommended them. I contacted him and he provided a good quotation for our budget.

We worked together in August 2020.

He did a very good job from the first draft that he provided. We made a few corrections and he corrected it. It was good material.

How did Bonifacio Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication was good. We communicated via email and WhatsApp. The first meeting was through video on Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Since they’re a very small company like us, they’re very quick and responsive. That might be the difference in comparison to working with a bigger company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, it was a very good job.

Be very clear about what you expect and need. That is the key to a good relationship.
