How did you select Bluebash Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and what were the deciding factors?

I was searching for spree developers on different platforms. Once I saw that Vishal from bluebash even supports in the free spree channel on slack I was sure that's my man. Knowing the community of an open source project is one of the best USPs an agency can have.

We're working on a multiserver setup using mysql and elasticsearch in the backend and an nginx/puma setup in the frontend. Next to that within the spree rails application reactjs components are integrated for better UX.

Bluebash helped and is still helping to improve the platform further with the different components. Even Analytics setups through Google Tag Manager has been done by the Bluebash team. It's not only the platform or a particular part of the system where Bluebash is working.

It's more like a very good partner to discuss further steps, find good solutions and with that improve the plattform in a very fast way.

One backend developer and one reactjs specialist. Maybe there is more manpower used in the background to solve issues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The pageload has increased by 500ms, organic traffic was raised and the organic rankings improved due to the technical optimizations on the platform. In addition to that the userflow has been improved.

We're using slack and GitLab to coordinate tasks and issues. Communication is done with Vishal Garg who spreads the tasks in the background if they're not done by himself. Within GitLab labels are used to mark the issues that should be solved next.

The workflow is very nice by using separated branches for every solved issue, to it's possible to integrate solved tasks into the production system where other tasks are not finished and therefore not ready for production, yet.

The diligence and communication is really awesome. Working on the different tasks is done very efficiently.

How did you select this vendor?

All in all, Anuj and Bluebash are a professional organization. This was my first time contracting out work and I was nervous to the say the least. I spent a long time reviewing developers and interviewing them on Upwork before landing on Bluebash.

Develop a fully custom CMS, front end and manage the hosting via AWS.

What was the team composition?

The project team was myself, my cofounder and Anuj from Bluebash.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Working with Bluebash the past 1.5 years has been an extremely positive experience. We initially talked to Suresh but then started working primarily with Anuj. Both individuals were pleasant to talk to and deal with. Anuj has been pivotal in getting our eSports platform off the ground.

Our website was a very long project spanning over several months at full time development (40 hours a week). Anuj and I met multiple times a week to make sure the logic and flow was working properly and we were on the same page.

To this day, we are still customizing the website with new additional functionality and features as we expand into new game markets. Anuj is very knowledgeable and experienced in Ruby/Rails as well as front end design. He built us a fully customized CMS tailored to our exact needs.

This project was very intricate in back-end design and the logic behind its functionality was not simple. Anuj and I sat sometimes for multiple hours discussing design flow and functionality so that we were both on the same page and did not move to quickly and make mistakes.

For the majority of 2019, we had him on an "as needed" basis and if we gave him a few weeks notice he was always willing to add or fix up any issues we had. I even remember two occasions where we had an emergency bug we needed fixed because we were in a live event and, on those two occasions, he fixed the two major bugs within 48 hours which was fantastic - I really had not expected such a fast response time.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Anuj's programming skill was paralleled by his communication skills. I don't think I ever waited more than 24 hours for a response from him (unless it was a holiday which is acceptable of course!). He was always easy to communicate with and let me know when he expected to have certain sprints/functionalities finished.

Project management was good and effective. We did not use any outside management services like Jira. It was all managed by me manually - this was my preference.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Programming skills, ability to work as a team, and open communication. I could not have had a better first-time experience and consider myself very lucky that I met Bluebash Consulting, Suresh, and Anuj. I would recommend them to anyone - we are still working with them and will continue to do so as we expand.

### Tunelark
The project is an e-learning platform for music instruments where the customers can set their preferences for the instruments, timings, lesson duration, etc. and then they will be provided with potential instructors that match those said criteria. On the most basic level, there are 4 types of users for the platform:

Super Admin- Mostly used by devs and leads to manage the backend.
Account Managers- Managers who handle interactions and coordination between instructors and students
Students- Those who avail of the application for musical instrument lessons

The client wanted to have an updated, latest and revamped version of the spree with a new design layout. There was an enormous amount of work we needed to perform to launch the new version of the website from Frontend and backend points of view.
