Onsite and offsite filming for a series of three marketing/web videos. The production/editing of all the film and the additional B-roll supplied to complete each video. Produced short marketing shorts for each video category for social media. Shot and edited three talking heads corporate video with stock b-roll and audio included.

Bloom provided regular updates on shoots and supplied clips for review on each shoot date. They produced and edited videos and shared progress in DropBox for client review and edits.

Streeter has worked with Bloom Creative for the past year or more, in collaboration with our leadership, marketing and sales teams on corporate brand and sales videos. Our goal was to create a series of videos for Streeter Crafting Utopia. Streeter videos showcase our residential custom homes projects and client testimonials that reflected our distinctive brand and exceptional client experience.

Bloom Creativ was referred to Streeter through a professional coaching firm - Apex Consulting

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

For most video projects, our process is highly creative and collaborative. We start with overall video goals and objectives, while also previewing photos of the build site that has been photographed prior to video shoots. Most videos are 3 to 6 minutes with an informal script plan focused on a home tour, project highlights and craftsmanship details. A series of 2 or 3 rough cuts, selecting music options, shooting b-roll and interviews, leads to a refined final video that is entertaining, informational and inspiring.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Chase Johnson, Bloom Creativ owner and videographer, on overall video direction, production and creation. As a creative director and marketing director, I co-directed the video content and creative direction - in collaboration with Chase. Chase was the video expert and gave excellent direction and guidance on camera direction, interviews, balance of b-roll and imagery, lighting, and overall sequences of images, music, tone and technology options. He also directed clients and Streeter talent for voice introductions and story scripts - that were more informal and conversational when on camera or taped on b-roll. Overall, the process was very collaborative and effective, with timely edits and 3 or 4 rounds of reviews and modifications.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our Streeter Crafting Utopia videos have been highly viewed and regarded by our staff, leadership, homeowners and viewers from Streeter YouTube, website and Instagram posts and promotions. As we promoted and launch Streeter videos, our audience ranges from hundreds to thousands of views daily.

Bloom Creativ was very approachable and collaborative, his work is efficient and assertive, as he manages timelines and rounds of proofs and revisions, always eager to exceed expectations of final video productions.

Not that we have experienced.

We hired Chase and his team to shoot us 2 videos. 1 was to ask as a brand "about us" video and the other was a sales funnel video for our upcoming advertising campaign. Our goal was to create a professional video that would persuade prospects to book an appointment with my team.

I selected Chase because of his creative touch and ability to turn my ideas into a reality. Outside of videography skills, he is very easy to work with and has an efficient system to get videos made on time with minimal changes.

We met and had a strategy session before we began to shoot. Once we had the scope of the video, we framed a spot to shoot. Then shot the video and continuously strategized to create a great product.

I was extremely impressed with the final product. Our about us video was exactly what we wanted and serves its purpose on our website to this day. Our ad campaign that used the video chase shot was wildly successful. We were able to capture a 8x ROI through that campaign.

Bloom's style is professional yet fun. He and his team is in constant communication regarding project status and is efficient in laying out what both parties need to do in order for the project to be successful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Like I said above, it is their ability to take my 2 dimensional ideas and add to them so that what would be pretty boring information, was now turned into something that anyone could watch. It is awesome to see their dedication at work. We saw that their whole team really loved what they did.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Very hard to say. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The only thing would be I wish we had found each other sooner! I continue to have a professional relationship with Chase and his team and will doing another project here shortly.

Our main objective was updating exterior building photography and drone videos of our real estate development projects, but we also worked with Chase on taking new employee headshot photos. Chase had been working with a division of our company on a couple of photo shoots, and was recommended to me for a wider range of projects. That referral and seeing his deliverables was the deciding factor, as well as Chase's organization and communication skills.

We upgraded most of our digital photography/videography and have implemented on websites and marketing. Overall, response has been positive from visitors to our sites.

Chase mostly communicates via email, and always sets Outlook appointments for his work. Very timely responses and great turnaround time on deliverables.

I would say the quality compared to the pricing. I have bid out work with other companies and have not found anyone better than Bloom Creativ.

No, I have been very happy.

I met with multiple videographers but chose to work with Chase due to his ideas (he is very creative), and his knowledge of the market. He was able to show me what other realtors do to market their businesses and came up with a custom plan for me.

We made a total of 6 videos. The first thing we did was meet and go over our goals and how we wanted to structure the videos. From there we had a "field day" and created all of the content and then Chase sent me the completed videos and asked for feedback. All of them I still use today and see success.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bloom Creativ?

We needed someone to help us produce an about-us video to feature on our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bloom Creativ has helped us produce our about-us video. I already had a general concept idea, so I first met with Chase (Founder & Creative) over Zoom to craft the story we wanted to tell. During the ideation process, he gave us great ideas, such as adding a call to action at the end of the video. We also set up the different scenes and went through the logistics for the shooting day. After that, we organized the day of the shoot, including where we would initially meet and which spots we would visit.

First, we interviewed a homeowner; then, we went to a construction site to see one of our roofs being pulled on; finally, we ended the video at our office. In there, Bloom Creativ set up an interview station area with lighting and a whole setup to end the video with an interview. After filming the footage, they were in charge of postproduction, which included video editing and audio mixing, before delivering the final video. Since then, we’ve posted this video on our website and social media channels.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people: Chase and an assistant who helped set up the lighting and the additional angle shots.

They came as a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $4,000, including a different project we worked on afterward.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on this project in June 2022. After that, we worked together on another project for a real estate brokerage, and I plan to work with them on other projects in the future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In addition to posting the video on our social media and website, we created a QR code for this video and placed it on all of our door hangers, so a lot of people have seen the video. Unfortunately, I don’t have specific numbers.

How did Bloom Creativ perform from a project management standpoint?

Bloom Creativ delivered on time and within budget. We communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bloom Creativ was more invested in the project than other companies would have. They had a great way of directing and gave us constant feedback. Overall, they offered a personal touch.

I can’t think of anything they could have done better. I was happy with them overall.

Have a clear idea of what you want the video to look like, and let Bloom Creativ have some artistic freedom.

I’m the director of operations for Downtown Resource Group Minneapolis, a real estate company selling residential real estate.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bloom Creativ?

We have a client event every year. Originally, we wanted to capture great shots of our clients and their families during our event for Christmas cards and other marketing purposes they wanted. With this project, we wanted to give our clients a reason to remember us and keep us on top of their minds.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bloom Creativ has helped us capture photos of our clients. We initially gave them a general idea of what we were looking for, and they were in charge of the rest. Thus far, they’ve done two photoshoots for us during two annual events straight.

We’ve worked with four people, including Chase (Owner & Creative), Devin (Senior Editor), and two different photographers whom Chase has brought for the photoshoots.

Chase is a former coworker. We decided to work with Bloom Creativ due to their great work.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first engagement with Bloom Creativ was in October 2021, and our second engagement concluded in November 2022. However, our partnership is ongoing, and we plan to use them again for our next event.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to the photoshoots provided by Bloom Creativ, we’ve had a lot of client engagement. In both years, we’ve had around 20 families coming to get their photos, so we’ve touched a lot of people with this initiative. Additionally, we’ve received great feedback on all the photos, and our sessions keep bringing clients back, which is really helpful.

How did Bloom Creativ perform from a project management standpoint?

Bloom Creativ delivered the final edited photos a few days after the photoshoots; they have very quick turnaround times. Moreover, they’re responsive and stay on budget. We mainly communicate via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bloom Creativ is very friendly, and they’ve done a great job with the families, kids, dogs, and everyone who has shown up to get their photos. Moreover, they have great turnaround times, and the end products are beautiful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t change anything about Bloom Creativ’s work.

Give them a baseline of what you’re looking for, and they’ll take it from there. Chase is very creative and knows what he’s doing.

Deciding factors was that Bloom Creative is very known, trending and trustworthy video making company in Minnesota and I was referred to him by few of my friends.

Sharp as a Culet Co. Video was a one day production of few scenes and locations. Chase, the owner of Bloom, communicated with me prior to the shoot to cover all the details, locations and accents. He was very involved in the process and gave me many suggestions for the venues that worked out perfect!

What challenge were you trying to address with Bloom Creativ?

We needed help with producing content around our jewelry products to place on our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bloom Creativ helped us produce a video for our website to display and describe elements of our custom-made jewelry featuring two models. Initially, they helped me prepare the video by meeting with me before the shooting day to discuss details and the script.

In addition to the video, Bloom Creativ helped us design our website and branding kit. For this portion of the project, they first provided us with some branding kit sketches to choose from and gave us recommendations, which helped us define our brand guidelines.

Bloom Creativ’s way of managing projects depends on the client; they were very understanding of our needs. Moreover, they met all the deadlines. We communicated via email, text messages, and phone calls. Additionally, we scheduled meetings using Google Calendar.

Chase was a very trustworthy, hardworking, and knowledgeable professional in his field; he was probably the gem of Bloom Creativ. Additionally, Bloom Creativ was a very fresh and modern company. They were up to date with current trends, and they did an amazing job, so they were able to compete with important companies.

I don’t have suggestions for improvement. I was very happy with the results and our communication.
