Blockchain App Factory was our technology development partner responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the blockchain infrastructure for our tokenized single malt Scotch whisky ecosystem. Their engagement was limited to technology development and implementation and didn't extend to investment management, legal, regulatory, or financial advisory services.The principal scope of work included:

• Blockchain platform development: design and development of the blockchain architecture, deployment of the Ecosse utility token on the Polygon blockchain, and configuration of the token smart contracts and related blockchain infrastructure.
• Smart contract development: development of ERC-20 smart contracts, token issuance, treasury, vesting, and transfer functionality, and smart contract testing, optimization, and deployment support.
• Tokenization platform: development of the digital platform used to represent verified Scotch whisky casks through blockchain-based records, creation of asset management functionality and administrative controls, and integration of blockchain records with verified asset data.
• Wallet and user integration: secure wallet connectivity, user registration, and authentication.
• Administrative dashboard: development of an administrator portal for platform management, token management tools, user and transaction monitoring, and reporting and operational controls.
• Exchange readiness: technical preparation of the token for centralized exchange listings, support for wallet compatibility and exchange integration requirements, and assistance with token deployment and verification.
• Security and QA: smart contract testing, security reviews, and audit coordination.
• Documentation and technical support: technical documentation for the platform, deployment assistance, and knowledge transfer and post-launch technical support.

- Delivery of the core blockchain platform and administrative dashboard for platform management.
- Integration of secure wallet connectivity, enabling users to store, send, and receive ECOSSE tokens.
- Development of backend APIs and blockchain integration required to support the platform's operations.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The experience with Blockchain App Factory was horrible. First they did not deliver on the deadline as promised. Second they up sold me every chance they got without addressing issues surrounding the marketplace.

It took weeks to receive a response from them and at the end, the marketplace did not work/does not work.

There was no project management style. They moved my project to a new company/team without informing me. Did not use Jira or Slack even when offered. We did not hear from them for weeks at a time, and when we did, just to get a status update, they would consistently up sell features that should be standard features.

Nothing

There was a need to improve their communication and development skills.
