He added pacing, transitions, and clean audio so the final videos felt professional, engaging, and true to her style.

I'm the senior creative studio manager of Ollie, a fresh dog food company that creates human-grade, nutritionally balanced meals tailored to each dog's needs.

What challenge were you trying to address with BLL Films?

We needed help with video production in a location that I was unfamiliar with, from a crew and resource perspective.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've hired BLL Films to work on a wide variety of projects. Most recently, we shot a member stories campaign in Los Angeles, where we interviewed Ollie members and shot a bunch of B-roll of them feeding and playing with their dogs. Ollie gave them the brief, and BLL Films carried the whole project through and delivered better results than I could've imagined.

BLL Films has helped with production, including location selection, booking crew, locking in a date, craft services, and meals. We like to work on a smaller scale and not huge productions, so I love that BLL Films is down to get their hands dirty and wear multiple hats. They filmed the entire series in one day. We shot four interviews and B-roll with each person and dog. They then delivered color-corrected edits of the top footage and sound bites and are currently working on more specific deliverables for our marketing channels, including paid social, organic social, longer-form YouTube series edits, and homepage.

They always deliver beautiful work so quickly.

Moreover, BLL Films is super attentive and thorough. They have such a well-oiled machine and can problem-solve and troubleshoot so quickly and efficiently.

The commercial came out PERFECTLY. BLL films was exceedingly communicative, and delivered the final product very quickly. The editing process was collaborative, and I felt that my critiques and requests were welcomed and applied. I was impressed with BLL films from the first meeting, until the final product was delivered.

They are well versed in all aspects of the industry—from building creatives to advising on all things technical (gear to use, edit, setups)... he is a one stop shop for all production and post needs and will go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of every client.

On our end we created a script and loose storyboard, once we handed that off to BLL we were able to create a shot list with them and prepare the proper equipment for the shoot. From there BLL followed our script and edited to gether a great video for us to use.

I was the main project manager on the Essendant side, and Sam was the project manager on the production side, Sam is easy to work with and very knowledgeable

We showed our video to our CEO and other C Level execs and they all loved it and cannot wait to use it.

I was recommended to BLL through a friend and after working with them once, I kept using them because of how fast they work and how easy they are to work with in the field.

BLL will work with you on your goals for the video, equipment needs, and strategy to get it done in a timely fashion. They're great in pre-production when we're brainstorming ideas and they'll never charge you for their time leading up to a shoot. They definitely care and want the best product for your company.

I worked with Sam and he's one of my favorite DPs I've ever used. Sam makes you feel calm in the field and stays on track to get the job done. Sam makes my life easier when I have a project and he collaborates very well.

They can adapt to problems and changes in the field. BLL is excellent with working on athlete's schedules which constantly change and a lot of production companies would have problems with that.

We have a lot of projects and I'd like to use them on more if they can build out their team. Only thing I'd want them to improve on is having a bigger staff to help us on more projects.
