I liked the proposal submitted by Bleed AI on the Upwork job that I posted and they had a relevant portfolio. I hired multiple teams and kept working with the one that excelled in the quality of work done, including Bleed AI.

They created a system that would use AI algorithms to detect faces and find out the best place to introduce subtitles in short videos, along with various customization options for the style and font of subtitles.

A project manager was our main point of contact. A computer vision and image processing expert worked full-time on each of the different vision systems.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The goals of the project were successfully met with a system that accurately detects and places subtitles at an ideal location automating the whole process.

I preferred to communicate with the team through chat. The expected timeline of the deliverables was agreed upon before starting each milestone or task and was delivered within the expected timeframe. Additionally, the team provided weekly updates with a daily work log that detailed the progress made each day of the week. Video demos were also shared and the code was managed on GitHub which I could easily test out.

They engineered detailed requirements for each task which helped build a solution that accounted for various conditions.

There was effective communication along the way and any shortcomings were addressed by the team.
