I'm a department director at Clermontier, a company that creates elegant satin nightgowns designed to bring comfort, confidence, and quiet luxury to your private hours.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with The Blank Works?

We needed to build and launch a premium e-commerce website that accurately reflected our positioning, presented our satin nightgowns with greater clarity and sophistication, and created a smoother shopping experience across desktop and mobile. Our main objectives were to strengthen our brand's visual identity, improve our product page structure and conversion potential, establish the necessary tracking and marketing foundations, and give us a scalable platform for future growth through paid media, content, and SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Blank Works has handled the project from end to end, from strategy and brand positioning through to the design, development, and launch of our Shopify website. The scope has included the full website structure, visual direction, responsive design for desktop and mobile, product and collection page development, conversion-focused UX, copy refinement, payment and shipping setup, essential app integrations, analytics and tracking configuration, and the foundations for SEO and email marketing. The team has also supported the wider e-commerce launch strategy, including content direction, creative production, and paid media preparation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest outcomes have been the successful launch of a fully functional Shopify store, a significantly improved mobile shopping experience, and reliable tracking across key actions such as product views, add-to-cart, checkout, and purchase. The Blank Works has also given us a clearer conversion funnel and a scalable foundation for paid media, email marketing, and SEO. Since the launch, we've been able to run campaigns with accurate data, publish content more consistently, and make decisions based on real customer behavior rather than assumptions.

Moreover, since the new site launched, customers appear to move through the store more confidently, particularly on mobile. Product information, sizing, imagery, and delivery details are easier to find, which has reduced basic pre-purchase questions and made the shopping journey feel clearer. We've also seen stronger engagement with product pages and a more consistent path from browsing through to add-to-cart and checkout. Overall, the new site presents the brand more professionally and gives customers greater confidence in both the products and the purchase experience.

The Blank Works has managed the project in a clear, organized, and responsive way. They've kept us informed throughout each stage, communicated priorities and next steps effectively, and been quick to address feedback or technical issues as they arise. The agreed-upon scope has been delivered on time, and any adjustments made during the project have been handled transparently without disrupting the overall launch schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What we've been most impressed with is how The Blank Works combines creative direction, technical execution, and commercial thinking within the same project. They haven't approached the website as a design exercise; they've considered how the brand would be presented, how customers would navigate and buy, and how the platform could support future marketing and growth. Their ability to understand our positioning and translate it into a refined, functional e-commerce experience has made the collaboration feel particularly valuable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's very little we would change. If anything, a more formal handover document summarizing the final setup, key integrations, and recommended next steps would have been helpful, but communication has always been clear, and the team has remained available whenever we need support.
