Blackthorn Vision designed and delivered a web application that a trainer can use to generate a custom fitness / strength gym training program based on formulas we input into the software. A mobile application was also built for the trainer to deliver these programs to clients via mobile application.

Other features were included in the build including client to trainer messaging, editing programs, editing exercises, adding custom videos, adding custom exercises, duplicating programs, saving programs as templates.

• The functionality of the software and application.

The deliverables were always on time as previously agreed. Other additional items requested were often fitted in within time too.

We hired Blackthorn for frontend and backend development.

We have worked with Blackthorn in my previous startup as well and had made up my mind that when i start my new one, i would like to work with them as they are not only reliable, but provide good quality folks as well.

We engaged Blackthorn pretty early in our journey, in the pre-product development stage itself and we foresee to continue this partnership for future too, just like we did in our previous startup, wherein we continued our relationship even after the acquisition.

We have used anywhere from 5 to 3 resources from this company. They were mostly senior/mid level frontend and backend engineers.

We were able to deliver the product with the help of Blackthorn team and they are still a critical part of the team.

Pretty effective. Even though we are in 2 different time zones, we manage to get work done in an effective way.

The reliability and quality of the work done by the team are impressive.

Blackthorn Vision had excellent references and a proven track record of completing high-quality work.

We had several ongoing meetings to discuss the scope of the project, including numerous design and specifications documents. The developers then implemented those specifications and met frequently to make any necessary adjustments.

There were two main developers assigned to the work. There were a couple other people involved in the early stages of setting up the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our work with Blackthorn resulted in a high-quality, functional MVP.

We communicated frequently using Slack, and had regular video conferences to discuss the project's progress.

Blackthorn was reliable and prompt; their work was done to a high standard, and they were very communicative.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had a couple small issues related to tasking of the developers. However, the issues were promptly resolved.
