I am the CTO of a barbershop. It is a $3 million dollar business with 20 staff members.

What challenge were you trying to address with Biwabits?

We wanted to take our business to the next level with a stricter ordering system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Biwabits developed software for our barbershop. The team built a mobile platform for the business, following the needs and desires of our team members. They looked at our old system to determine how to build the new one. According to our requirements, they began writing the functional requirement document with the assistance of our team members. It grew and it became the basis of their development.

Biwabits also helped me with our marketing efforts. They helped with social media marketing, SEO, and PPC.

They are very organized, and they don’t waste time. It felt like we were their main focus, I'm happy that we worked with Biwabits.

We have invested $200,000.

I began working with them in May 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After we began our relationship with Biwabits, our business has been better than before. We even have customers that come to us from other cities.

Communication has been great and they know what I want.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When they have a customer, they are focused on what the customer needs which is great. They are very organized, and I am satisfied working with Biwabits.

I’m a project manager for Bumi Laras Hijau, a farming company in Indonesia. We’re expanding our business into IT systems, given the current favorable state of the global market and the farming community.

What challenge were you trying to address with Biwabit?

We needed to build a website and application to sell our products through.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our website and our Android farming application, incorporating a payment gateway and allowing us to sell our products to customers. The team acted as a consultant around our IT systems.

The application has five modules, including one for buying and selling our products. We can enter our products into it, then customers can see all the details around them. We also have a module for discussions and information about current farm conditions and price fluctuations. There's also a customer profile database and the app links to our website.

What is the team composition?

They assigned two developers and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Biwabit?

We got a lot of good referrals for them from colleagues. We chose Biwabit because they had the ability to build custom products, they had pleasant personalities, and they were flexible with timing.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1 million on their work.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2017. We had a few problems with finance at the time, but engaged them again this year. Development is still ongoing; we have to maintain our application on a daily basis and address any bugs that may pop up.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The application hasn’t been launched yet; it’s currently in beta and we’re still building its database. The feedback we’ve received from colleagues and customers is generally good, in terms of functionalities, content, and design. We want to develop it further, though.

How did Biwabit perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication part is quite good, but we’ve had to extend the project timelines. The payment gateway is being built by another third-party and there’ve been a lot of problems with it.

We usually communicate through phone and email, given that we’re based in different areas. We have scheduled meetings with Biwabit every month, for project reviews.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their performance has been generally good for us.

We hope that Biwabit will improve its interface design work.
