Binerals developed an MVP for our services & activity booking portal targeting active adults 60+ in Germany, which included the following steps:

- Analysis of competitive environment and accessibility requirements in the digital space for the senior target group
- Definition of product and technical specifications to derive the scope of the MVP
- Development of the MVP based on jointly defined specifications (full tech stack incl. backend, frontend, server)
- Testing and further optimization of the MVP
- Further amendments of the MVP following adjusted product and tech specifications

Since we had no in-house Tech and Digital Marketing teams, we heavily relied on the business analysis, software development and digital marketing skills of Binerals and implemented their recommendations regarding best practices for booking portals and social networks, adjustments for our specific target group, anticipation of future product and tech roadmap. 

Ultimately Binerals has provided us with a scalable, secure and high-performance solution that caters to the evolving needs of our senior users and can be used both in a pure digital platform context and in serviced apartment buildings for active adults.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We benefit from a finalized and well-working MVP, which has been used successfully to build our first sales track record in terms of acquisition of service partners and end-users and which performs as a proof-of-concept in our dialogues with financial and real estate investors.
We will continue to rely on Binerals for further developments and as a key sparring partner regarding any subjects related to digital strategy, software development and digital marketing.

There were certain delays in delivering the MVP, but these were partially caused by the fact that we had adjusted our own requirements along the way. In cases of dissatisfaction or conflict regarding any  deliverables, Binerals has always been very reactive, trying to accomodate for our needs while limiting the development budget. We also had direct access to senior management which helped to overcome critical situations. Overall, we're very satisfied with this collaboration and intend to continue it in the medium to long run.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

All customer-facing team members are very much dedicated to meeting your specific needs and supporting overall customer success. Binerals as an overall company was able to deliver high-quality outcome within limited time and budget. This is of great value, especially for startups in the early stages of development. In this scenario, outsourced development can be considered as a long-term and scalable solution, even without in-house tech teams on the customer side. We initially thought we would have to hire an in-house team after the MVP, but have now decided to stick to this partnership for further developments, since it works very well and has great benefits compared to the in-house solution. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Binerals could have done differently?

We had a conflict regarding process management, documentation and approval processes in the early phase of the collaboration which could maybe have been escalated more quickly or efficiently. But looking backward, the critical issues have been fixed and the quality of the overall relationship was maintained or even improved, so we have no ground for criticism.

When we wanted to build a dating app, we had a vision and some incomplete wireframes. Binerals helped us to transform this into a beautiful, complete, consistent and ready-to-implement design. Binerals also helped us to expand the scope of the design with additional features later on.

Binerals delivered a ready-to-implement design that fit well with our target audience and that we've received a lot of positive feedback on. The design was also easy to expand upon, adding additional settings and features without having to change a lot around. Binerals was also very quick in addressing any feedback or requests for changes, while being very budget-friendly.

Binerals delivered designs way sooner than expected, with short turnaround times for revisions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Binerals clearly has extensive experience designing and building dating apps, as they were quick to point out gaps in our design and suggest things we hadn't thought about ourselves. Their quick turnaround times made for a very pleasant experience for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Binerals could have done differently?

Not really. The only thing I can think of is that some of the people at Binerals don't speak English very well, but they made sure that all communication with me went through people who speak excellent English, so this was never an issue.

Every task given to Binerals was estimated and time frames for development were discussed. We got weekly calls with Binerals team, it was always easy to know who was doing what and what task right now in progress or done. Plus all results can always be seen on the test server.

We hired Binerals to develop an experimental prototype of an anti-fraud engine that would save money by not paying for fraud leads.

Analyze incoming user information and respond to business threats quickly with the help of smart notifications and different types of moderation queues.

How did you select Binerals?

We met them through one of our partners at the Affiliate conference, and their previous expertise and projects experience seemed to be the right fit to what we were trying to achieve.

Describe the project in detail.

We relied on Binerals to build a fraud prevention system that could respond to three central interactions. We wanted the software to analyze incoming user information for suspicious patterns and check blacklists with 3rd party providers to pre-qualify and label leads.

On further steps, the system analyzes user behavior on-site and sends out notifications when suspicious activity is detected. Finally, it helps moderators and marketers to respond to business threats quickly with the help of smart notifications and different types of moderation queues.

To facilitate those interactions, we had to define and build a list of rules to map to those requests. We had to come up with all of the different ways that users might trick the system. We had to build out that database as well to make it as user-friendly as possible.

I worked primarily with Igor (CMO, Binerals) and one ML/AI developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This system serves us well as a marketing tool to this point. That fraud-prevention system is undoubtedly helpful and saved us a ton of money. It has enormous potential to become a stand-alone service for other businesses.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Igor was very good in terms of responsiveness, with really great developer to hand when technical issues had to be discussed. Very effective, never had to wait or had a feeling that there was an unnecessary delay.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team delivered the functionalities the way we wanted them to be implemented. Binerals team is very easy to work with, punctual and precise, but also understanding and flexible. Human side of this IT company impressed us the most.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing I can think of right now. We have a very productive cooperation with this team. I would re-hire them for similar project if something comes up and our in-house developers are overloaded.

Working within a complex architecture, Binerals coded a professional marketing and data analysing platform. The platform features a complex payment system, ensuring the platform’s security and compliance.

They installed and maintained anti-malware as well. The team also moved and consolidated multiple servers to a more flexible cloud-based server. Other details are under NDA.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They quickly understood our network issues, came up with a plan, and executed flawlessly.

1. Since the company implemented the auto-scaling option provided by the Binerals team, we have not experienced any downtimes in our system. The team's experience with AWS was immediately apparent as they developed and executed a flawless plan. With their excellent work ethic, they made sure that the flow, security, and performance control are always in great shape.
2. Binerals team has used React to develop the frontend of a web application. They then implemented APIs and integrated it with the rest of the application.
3. We saved around 20% of the costs on operators thanks to the new ML models.
4. We reorganised internally our PM department who don't need to handle tech problems/bugs/downtimes etc. troubles any longer and are focused on bigger goals for the company.
5. The platform received positive feedback from customers, particularly for being attractive and easy to use. It allowed us to increase the capacity of the "done" tasks for the clients already on 15% and it keeps growing.

Binerals team employs a communicative team and takes a straightforward approach, which has resulted in an effortless workflow. With their deep understanding of project needs and helpful suggestions, they delivered a platform that turned out to be better than the original concept.

Working with their team was easy but what sets them apart is their English proficiency, professionalism, and the involvement of their COO & CTO.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge of ML and the best practices they used was impressive. We could not only count on the quick action of the team, but also on substantive support for the designed solutions.

Binerals is exactly what we sought in a partner. Their team listens to us and documents everything. Even when they’re working on several different things, they meet all of our deadlines. I am very satisfied with the work and whole experience.

The team requires some time at the very beginning to get familiar with all project details. But quality, stability, cost effectiveness and meeting the deadline - were top 4 key factors for us and it was met at the end.

Our budget was exactly the same at the end of the project as the pricing offer which we've got after Binerals team has finished studying the project.

We had an idea of a new type of social network and wanted to create a MVP to visualize the idea. Further on, based on the test results, we decide to continue the project.

Binerals has been working on creating a web and mobile site. Technologies used are React and Relay (GraphQL) for the frontend, PHP7 and yii2 based framework, GrapQL, MySQL, REdis, Rabbit, Elastic Search, etc for the backend on AWS. The backend is designed for very high loads, since it is planned to attract a very large number of users. They also make mobile applications for iOS and Android on React Native.

System architect, devOps engineer, backend, frontend and applications senior developers, UI/UX Designer, illustrator and project manager. Binerals marketers were also attracted.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

A goal was to build an MVP and launch the product into the market to get users feedback. The result exceeded all expectations. Binerals team made a really great product and we decided to continue the development. The process of MVP development was great - from the initial discussions and estimation to the working process, communication, etc. Top-notch team!

We used Telegram and emails for daily communications. Also we conduct monthly calls to analyze the work done and plans for the next month. We use Jira for project management, Bitbucket for source code. Video conferences over Zoom and Google Meets.

The team understands our ideas at a glance and helps describe and implement them exactly as we imagined it. This is an incredible synergy of our aspirations and their hard work and professionalism.

For a while, we could not find a common language with the illustrators, we changed several of them, but have not yet come to any result. I would like to see a better selection of personnel for this direction, as it happens among technical teams.
