What challenges were you trying to address with  Billennium S. A.?

We had two challenges; the first was to implement a business academy in a very niche technology that isn’t popular in our local market, so there aren’t many specialists. Secondly, since financial pressure was very strong in the IT sector, we decided to implement different ways of hiring resources. Therefore, we decided to offer a B2B contract to our current employees. Due to legal reasons, we couldn’t do this ourselves, so we hired Billennium S. A.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
Billennium S. A. provides us with IT staff augmentation services. They provide an expert who selects and trains junior developers in a niche technology so we can later hire them as employees. They also help us offer B2B contracts to our current employees. Additionally, they provide office space for our teammates outside of Poland. 

What was the team composition? 

We work directly with a key account manager, a business development manager, and team leaders.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent about $60,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The resource Billennium S. A. has provided to train junior developers is exceptional; they're an expert in this niche technology. They are now our team's tech leader and are contributing to our projects' success. Working with Billennium S. A. has been the best choice for us because it's hard to attract experts directly from the market. 

How did Billennium S. A. perform from a project management standpoint?

We've met in person a few times and also use email, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Billennium S. A. is practical, engaged, and offers us more than we expected. For example, when we were looking for a company that could help us in other locations outside of Poland, they offered to put our employees in their office. Although this came with an added cost, they were the only company to provide the possibility. For Billennium S. A., everything is possible — they want to do the work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't see any room for improvement; I've gotten everything I expected from them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Billennium S. A. offers services in different continents, so if you want a provider with all sorts of technologies and skills on board, they're the company for you. They go the extra mile to tailor the solution to our needs — they're great.
