What challenge were you trying to address with BigOhTech?

We needed help with multiple initiatives to deliver within tight budgets and aggressive timelines. They augmented our team seamlessly to help deliver on multiple projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BigOhTech handled the entire frontend migration from Vue to React. The team also helped us define the SOW, delivery and payment milestones, and specs. In addition, they were responsible for development, unit testing, deployment, and testing in the dev and QA environments, aligning with CI/CD pipelines. The team was engaged on multiple project (5+). This included migration a fintech enterprise saas frontend webapp from Vue to React, delivery of key product features with aggressive timeline, microfrontend architectural transformation and WebSDK development. They seamlessly integrated with our existing team and agile delivery process.

BigOhTech delivered 80% test coverage and resolved 100% of issues within the SLA. They also delivered GitHub PRs, test coverage, and product demos for relevant features and pages in non-production environments. They delivered product incrementally with milestone. The team focused on outcomes and deliverables with often contribution to improvements in product & processes.

BigOhTech focused on outcomes and deliverables instead of just charging by time, which was very aligned with our needs. In addition, they often contributed to improving the software, architecture, and overall delivery process. We communicated via virtual meetings.

We wanted to develop website for ecommerce transaction on Apollo Diagnostics. This required order flow development, UX/UI development & other impotant functionalities for order creation. The requirement also included post order flow creation & building required API's. On performance indicators, the requirement was to create Mobile optimized website that can deliver loading time of less than 3s and asist in order creation inless than 3minutes.

Data Migration

• Problem/ Objective: Our internal teams were using 2 property management systems (A&B) in the backend. Our objective was to transition from A to B completely without data loss & augment features in B Solution.
  • BoT helped in mapping of the data sets across both the systems & systematically migrating them to B. B system was fairly complex & comprehensive. It took us longer than expected but we were able to achieve the desired outcome
  • They also helped solve bugs in the PMS & augment certain features of high business criticality

Mobile App development

• Problem statement: Our resident (customer) mobile application was build on an old technology stack and many features were not working. Since the old tech stack was not functional, these bugs couldn't be fixed in the App Solution
  • BoT helped us with user stories & UI/ UX designs from scratch
