We have worked with BG Video LLC since May 2019 on over a dozen video projects. What started off as one lifestyle, branded video created on behalf of our client has morphed into over a dozen branded videos for the same client over the years, with more work in the pipeline. 

Across all of these projects, BG Video has been responsible for the entire video production, encompassing everything from camera selection to lighting, audio to directing, as well as post production details including all edits, color correction, syncing, voice overs, graphic additions and so much more. They've always delivered all raw footage, a polished long form video, as well as 15 and 30 second cut downs, which have been made at the request of our client.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In working with BG Video, we were able to create a new medium and metric for success when it comes to all future video work for our client, as it needed a rebrand, not only in terms of the type of content we were creating, but up-leveling the production quality as well. 

As such, we see our success in just that - BG has set the new standard for our client's video projects by ensuring they are on brand, share the appropriate brand messages and talking points in a unique way, and are of a high caliber when it comes to production value, with consistent upgrades made through new technology and camera work. 

Overall, we measure success with their projects by the reaction of our clients to the finished product, and it continues to exceed their expectations.

BG is always extremely communicative and delivers requested updates, edits and details in a timely manner. They're effortless to work with and are consistently responsive to our internal needs and requests our client makes on their behalf.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The production quality and professionalism of a younger company of this size is truly incredible, a rare gem to find, which is why we continue to work with them, project after project.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We contracted a student athlete who became semi-famous after publicly retiring from The Ohio State University football team after suffering from major depression and suicide attempts. He was our 2022 keynote speaker who also agreed to do a sit-down interview talking about his life and mental health struggles.

We chose a space in Little Italy that was comfortable for an in-depth conversation. BG video was very involved in helping us choose the right setting and handled all details of the shoot. Lighting, content suggestions, talking points, multiple camera angles, everything.

After the shoot we had more than an hour of content but needed to cut it out by 40 minutes. Brian and Greg's suggestions and creativity putting this project together were perfect. We now have a professional multi-purpose video that we can use for the many different applications and needs of our organization and outreach.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's hard to pinpoint the emotional measurable outcomes from this video. All I can say is that people who have viewed the video are very moved and emotional after watching. They want to help our organization reach more teens suffering from depression to prevent suicide. They created such a moving, heartfelt video that touches everyone who watches it.

I would have to say that they definitely exceed expectations in this area. They have always been timely and checking in with what they need from us to get the job done. Very proactive and easy to work with!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Brian and Greg are true professionals and video production artists. They know exactly what they're doing and how to most effectively convey our message through video. They know how to put people at ease if they are on video for the first time. Just great people that you want to work with again and again!

Are there any areas for improvement or something BG Video, LLC could have done differently?

Not one thing. True professionals, timely, proactive, easy to work with, and the list goes on...
