The final deliverables were agreed to be the completed application for web, iOS, and Android, and this would be accomplished through a data importer in python, backend development in Xano, Front end development in FlutterFlow, and UI/UX designs in figma.

Pablo (CEO) appointed a variety of developers, managers, and designers to work on our project.

I found them through Xano Marketplace. I did a video consultation with Pablo, and he assured me that he would be able to complete my application in 3–4 months. I read other positive reviews about his organization and felt confident trusting him to build my application.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The only good thing I can say about BetterWay Devs is that they provided two decent Figma designers who completed wireframes and designs for desktop and mobile for the application. 

In the end, we had to start over development with a new company.

How did BetterWay Devs perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was horrific. 

In my original meeting with Pablo, he told me the project would take 3–4 months, and the whole time working with him he inflated a sense a false of hope and he assured me that we were a few months away from finishing and that once we finish "X" then "Y" will go much faster. His managers consistently missed promised deadlines, overlooked critical product details, and lacked a sense of ownership for their poor performance. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

I was continually impressed by their level of optimism despite months of poor performance and their degree of confidence to deliver on the timeline they proposed despite not once delivering a single feature or function on time. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything. All areas could use improvement.

The service provider responded on September 2, 2025.

Unfortunately, the last developer was not able to work with this client due to rough treatment and late-night communications, which led to their resignation. At BetterWay Devs, we cannot accept those circumstances for the wellbeing of our talents.

This project originally started with a sister company, and we stepped in through our staffing model to provide additional support. We invested many free hours and extra effort in an attempt to help, but the collaboration was very challenging as requirements frequently shifted and the client was expecting much more than our staffing model is designed to provide.

We understand that the client has now moved to a partner specialized in tech staff rather than recruiting. While we regret that this engagement ended poorly, we believe the 0.5 rating does not reflect the dedication and work our team put into the project.
