Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Belichberg worked on implementing a complex redesign of one of our major user interface components, a search box. Specifications of the redesign have been provided by us. Key deliverables included a refactoring of search box functionality in JavaScript, visual updates in HTML5 and CSS, implementation of Accessibility guidelines, integration with OpenAPI interfaces, and updates of internal documentation. We will now move on to the next deliverable of a database migration.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The web developers are very skilled at their job and accommodating to our requirements. Open, transparent and direct communication. The regular use of established communication channels was also a big plus, it gave comfort that our tasks are actively being worked on and a priority. They are willing to contribute their expertise beyond the immediate project scope with a forward-looking perspective.

Are there any areas for improvement or something BELICHBERG could have done differently?

None - we're very satisfied with the collaboration.

greentec services is specialized in the technical management of photovoltaic systems. The company, which is based in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Poland, currently manages around 150 PV systems in fourteen European countries with a peak power of over 285 MWp.

What business challenge were you trying to address with the service provider?

Big investors and asset managers need sophisticated and individual reporting of their solar portfolio/assets. Challenging performance calculations with specific exclusions are defined in the contract and need to be integrated into the report. In order to avoid lots of manual work with these reports, we hired the vendor to develop an automatic tool with millions of live data points and complicated calculations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The vendor developed the tool from scratch. In short time the tool could already be used for the monthly reports and solved our immediate need.

Our contact guided us through the process and acquired all necessary information in a few sessions. His team developed the continuous steps and upgraded it along the sessions.

The vendor delivered to us a user-friendly, nice-looking web-based platform with massive amount of live data and highly sophisticated calculations exactly according to our needs.

We will use the tool in the future not just for this, but all our clients and also want to increase and update the functionality. What is there more to say?

They provide us with professional support, good availability, and quick execution. Highly recommendable.

We had very old systems that generated a lot of false video alarms, so we needed help with custom software development to solve that issue.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Belichberg GmbH helped us develop an AI model from scratch to filter out false alarms and detect relevant objects for us, which are persons and vehicles.

My main contact is Mykola (Owner), but we also work with their back- and frontend team and DevOps.

Mykola was working for a sister company of ours as an employee. After that, he went out as a freelancer for us, and we decided he was a good match for what we were looking for.

We started working together in August 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We could renegotiate our prices with our suppliers by reducing the false alarms. Their success is not only measured by what they're developing, but it also has big advantages for our business.

How did Belichberg GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?

We collaborate via Slack, and every week or two, we have a project meeting to review their work and see if it's what we need or if we need to keep developing further.

They always find the right solutions for our current challenges.

They could distribute the workload between the team members because Mykola is the company's main focal point.

I am the CEO of raicoon. We are providing a SaaS solution for the autonomous operation of renewable energy plants.

We needed a custom solution for dynamically creating and managing FTP endpoints for data aquisition systems. Additionally the incoming data needed to be properly parsed into our internal data structure.

The project was delivered as specified and on time in a professional manner. The Management API is currently in active use in our production systems without issues.

During our cooperation with Belichberg, its team has shown its professionalism and ability to work with the client. Before the start of cooperation, the conditions and expectations were agreed upon, after which the team immediately set to work, and in the end we got exactly what we needed.

The tasks that were assigned to the team were completed within the agreed time frame. Also, during the development process, we regularly received ready-made solutions thanks to which we could have an idea of the readiness of the product and also had the opportunity to make adjustments, the team quickly responded to our requests and we achieved the expected result.
