There were times when it felt like our Bejamas team got pulled away to work on tasks for other clients. Progress would slow down on our projects and updates wouldn't come as quickly. I would have appreciated a more direct heads up during those times to help me plan ahead and set realistic timelines and launch dates.

The work consisted of creating a design system for the new Rearc website with style guidelines, building out scaffolding and tools required to build the website, and then implementing the website using Next.js by creating reusable components for the various page types with unique page types mixed in. 
We went through several rounds of design iteration before beginning development, and deliverables consisted of page types being fully designed and implemented. Content was later added by us once pages were completed.

Bejamas was brought on to build our company website. Instead of an easy, out-of-the-box solution, we went for a custom build because our website was likely going to grow with us over the years. It was better to build it right the first time! Their team helped in assisting me with design and tool decisions along the way that best suit my needs and requirements.

Bejamas was able to deliver on the agreed scope of the Phase 1 of our website. We have potential plans on Phase 2, dependent on how our company continues to grow but the primary goal was creating a fresh new company website with great UI and beautiful on-brand designs. This was fulfilled in the agreed time frame and budget.

Their ability to deliver quickly and efficiently. I have worked with many webdevs over the years, and I was impressed with how quickly we were able to get from zero-to-hero. Our team was able to work very agile and collaboratively with theirs, which made for speedy development. They also have great knowledge of various tech stack solutions for websites, and I believe we went with the right ones based on their recommendations.

There were some small project-management/communication hiccups but it was all part of figuring out each others working style, time zone differences and mutual needs. Once we cleared this up, it was smooth sailing.

The next stage involved the graphic design of subpages. The work was progressing so smoothly that we asked the Dodonut team for support in visual identity and logo development as well. We also received assistance in configuring the website with all the systems we use on a daily basis, which was a significant facilitation for us. In the case of alerts and other unexpected notifications, we could also count on a quick response.

Such overlaps did add to the revision process and could have been mitigated with more rigorous component tracking and communication. Additionally, while their designs were top-notch, the accompanying documentation could benefit further refinement. Enhancing the clarity and comprehensiveness of their documentation would further streamline the adoption and utilization of the design system.

After presenting the final designs to our team, we received very positive feedback. Currently we are in the process of implementing the website - our developers praise that the documentation is prepared very qualitatively and accurately.

We moved to hire Bejamas' developers to assist us on a regular basis as added support to our in-house team. Initially, the first project was focused on the migration of content pages from Drupal to Contentful.

At Finanzchef24, we were already using the Jamstack architecture which was aligned completely with Bejamas' expertise. We knew we needed an agency with developers that were diligent and experienced migrating from Drupal and finding ways to handle huge content structures.

Core Web Vitals: One of the biggest refinements made was to the performance of the Homepage app -- and it now passes the Core Web Vitals assessment for both desktop and mobile. Homepage app: Many changes to Contentful and the codebase have been implemented to facilitate the migration of hundreds of pages from Drupal to the homepage app and add/improve features and functionality. Global package changes The Bejamas developers refined global packages by making small changes to our design system and adding the React Context API to our custom cookie banner implementation. Widget: Custom React app The Bejamas team implemented a widget that our partners can place on their sites to send their users into Finanzchef24's digital interview funnel. The staging and production are hosted on Vercel and we used a GitHub pages site for the documentation showing how to add the widget to a site.

We had one frontend-focused developer supporting us all the time, while a second joined for another six months.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

One of the most notable results was the significant enhancement in our page performance which now meets the requirements to pass Google's Core Web Vitals – we saw a huge jump from 30% to the 70%+

We used GitHub, Slack/MS Teams and JIRA to communicate with the team. While following Scrum, we had dailies in which the communication and participation from Bejamas' developers was exemplary, always being transparent in setting the right expectations, committing to their work and delivering on time.

Despite the fantastic support they have provided thus far, I believe they could offer more choices for future market researches aimed at certain profiles we may require.

We're a company that offers pet insurance plans to manage pet health costs in the US and Canada. I started as the Director of Product Development and transitioned to Head of Product and I lead the development side of the business.

We got a couple of proposals from a few different agencies, and some of the main reasons why we went with Bejamas were related to the pricing you gave us and how we really liked your website and the case studies we read.

There were some hiccups in the beginning but it's pretty normal when starting a consulting project as we figured out workflows and the velocity that we needed. That was solved and that's about it. Everything else has been great, so no complaints.
