An analysis of the benchmark websites and platforms paying attention to how they engage with their audience, generate relevant insights, and good and bad practices. Deliverable: benchmark document.
• Deliverable 2: Proposal for the visual identity of the project including: logo, colour palette, typography, icons, maps style and several sections of the Municipality Dashboard and Homepage to see how the visual proposal can work on the platform.
• Deliverable 3: Look & feel proposal for the Homepage.

We were approached by an organisation looking to design and develop a new website. They were looking for a premium and customised design that matches their branding and achieve primary feature related functionalities.

How did you select this vendor?

We were previously approached by Beecoop Agency for another project. I had a look at their portfolio and it was truly outstanding. Given the timeline of the previous project we were unable to have them on board, however we had them shortlisted for the next suitable and most fitting opportunity.

The project began with a research and analysis. In this phase we conducted research focused on the industry of the organisation, user personas who will be expected to access the website and analysed reference website that we would use as a reference from a design perspective. The next phase was the website architecture and user flows. For the website architecture decided how information is organised and prioritised on the website. We listed out the structure of all the website pages, and internal linking.

As for the user flows, we created flowcharts to display the complete and different possible paths the user will take when using the website. Once the website architecture and user flows were approved, the wireframes were created. Once the wireframes were approved, we proceeded with the Homepage design.

After that, the remaining pages were design and responsive versions (tablet and mobile) were designed as well. We sent the prototyping link to a couple of users for testing purposes to ensure the website design aligned with user expectations and preferences.

The UX/UI met the goals of the project and highlighted the three main features that were required. The feedback received during the Prototyping and Testing phase was testament to the outstanding role that was performed by Beecoop Agency. Moreover, the client was pleased with the UX/UI Designs and mentioned that on multiple occassions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Both the UX/UI Designer as well as the Project Manager were responsive, flexible and took extra steps to ensure the project is delivered on time and as per the brief.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two primary areas were the most impressive and unique about Beecoop Agency. Firstly, the UX/UI designs were unmatched and provided an outstanding user experience. Secondly, the true willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that comments, questions and feedback from the client were quickly responded to, ensuring we were satisfied and client goals were met.

Providing recommendations backed by the presentation created during the Research & Analysis phase on how the website brief and design can be enhanced to ensure users receive a great experience using the website.

As client, I don't control wordpress and Beecoop delivered my web site without follow-up, without complete explanation, with bugs... I was facing many problems (CSS, configuration ...) and I was forced to recruit another developer to fix the problems.

Nothing, it was a lot of blah blah and lies.

When they delivered the web site with many bugs and I had some problems in understanding the functioning of wordpress, I let them know and asked for a meeting, they don't answer the phone or email anymore. So, they should communicate better with their client.

The team was able to exceed our expectations related to quality and delivery time. They have solved all technical issues within a short time period. We have a platform that is used by more than 2300 customers without any incidents or complaints. We have got only positive feedback from our customers.

We have used Slack for communication, Github to manage technical work, and Trello to manage other project-related activities. The team of Beecoop was very flexible and responsive. We had perfect communication and team spirit.

They did really care about our customers and milestones, and we felt like being a single company driving for a common purpose.
