We had a working mobile app (MVP) but needed BB8 to help us turn the experience of using it into something that could be adopted easily, and without training by any normal everyday person. We were looking for a collaborative partner to help us deliver this.

Figma visual designs for stage 1. Then feedback from our in house development team during execution/build when BB8 supported. And finally the retention rates we achieved after product launch.

The timely delivery was excellent, as was the management of the whole project. They listened, they were open minded, and they were calm and professional. But above all else, they are knowledgable in their field.

We've requested BB8 to conduct UX research and interviews with our US-based end-users. Interviews were conducted on the premises in Florida, USA in multiple locations over several weeks. Deliverables included client insights and input into our product development strategy.

Cyfrowa Foto is an innovative company operating in the field of digital printing, polygraphy and bookbinding, extending its services to new foreign markets. By combining tradition and the opportunities created by the latest digital technology, we create customized photo products intended for individual and business customers.

I worked as a brand manager responsible for the optimization of promotional and advertising activities aimed at increasing the reach and developing the brand image on the market. My tasks also included the development of the application, the offer available in it and the way of introducing and presenting the product available to customers.

Certainly, it is the extensive experience of the project team, a way of communicating with the client and a perfect understanding of the dynamic needs of the digital client. Innovation and proven solutions providing a high conversion rate, care for changes, great contact, quick feedback and really high-quality products.

From the first contact, each stage was refined:

1. Collection of requirements, detailed research and preparation of some interesting and diverse proposals that allowed us to find the answer to our needs
2. Preparation of an implementation plan and individual stages. Consultations on each of them.

The possibility of introducing changes and optimization preceded by testing the proposed solutions. Transparency of activities and support of BB8 experts. Tasks carried out within the declared time with the use of the highest quality materials and innovative solutions. A product that has been implemented into production without any problems and has passed the verification of purchasing platforms in appstores and on desktop platforms.

I have worked with a team of UI designers, UX designers, UX writers, project manager, developers, graphic designers, also with the head of the company.

The websites and applications work great, have high sales results and high user experience scores. The stores are ready for offer modifications and dynamic promotional campaigns. The products prepared by BB8 are aesthetic, modern, optimal on the market, professional and very competitive.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Perfect contact. Quick reply to every question and message. Organizing meetings not included in the agreed project plan was not a problem. The team was prepared in terms of content and design. They were cooperative, proactive, committed, and inventive.  As a customer, we feel fully cared for and satisfied.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First of all, professionalism, knowledge confirmed by successful projects, continuous development of competences, knowledge of the current market needs and an expert approach, thanks to which we can develop services and adjust.

I don't want to change anything with BB8. I would like all contractors to present such a level of service.

We have changed the positioning of our company. The communication and visual nature of the brand no longer corresponded to the goals we wanted to achieve. We asked a vendor to audit the current website and prepare recommendations for the new one.

In the next step, BB8 prepared the UX and UI of the new website. Our goal was to change the image on the web to a more international one, increase conversion from forms and improve SEO visibility.

I was a CTO of Mobile division of the company fully focused on the mobile e-commerce.

It was a set of few new products (native mobile apps) focused on m-commerce. We needed someone with very good experience on mobile (native) technologies with strong background on the user behaviour, and user experience (UX, UI).

We were working in SCRUM so two dedicated persons from BB8 was a part of the “Team” for more than a one and a half year. We started from the gathering ideas and put them into the backlog where BB8 was very active to help us understand our products and all the functionalities that we want to develop in that products to our users. We were working on iOS and Android applications (incl. Huawei) as a native applications so… Swift, and Kotlin/Flutter and for the product features we have integrated push notifications, login using Google/Facebook/Apple ID, instant mobile payment - Adyen - using native libraries for both iOS/Android.

At the beginning three: - one as a researcher/UX designer (half time) - one as a UX designer (full time) - one as a UI designer Then, only two of them - UX and UI designer - full time.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched the first app (very quick, after 5 months) from set of apps that we have planned to deliver in 2021/2022 and we were available in the AppStore and Google Play also building marketing campaign for the porduct where we also invited BB8 to work on that as they were very close to the development process and User behaviour for the app. App was released, campaign was released, but then… Covid came in and we needed to stop working on all of the apps.

As mentioned before, we worked in SCRUM so we had daily, weekly, and all of the ceremonies that SCRUM is expecting to have. We also had direct communication using Slack (dedicated channels for UX, UI, Research and so on…) we worked in JIRA using Kanban type of board.

Knowledge and experience. They were always willing to share the information with us and wanted all the best for us as a client.

They should clone themselves to work on more cool stuff because they are very cool people!

The website was a project for the manifesto action for Fantasia brand which had to be extremly feminine, modern and self explanatory to the user. We had to combane both strong message and build visible, engaging brandig.

We looked at BB8 credentials and discuss the project. The way of working which was presented have meet our needs and the esthetic reference made an impression on us.
