• Our previous web designer had basically taken our site hostage. The costs kept climbing with no upfront disclosure, and then a fake "Russian cyber attack" warning started displaying to anyone who visited our site. The previous company demanded $3,000 from their "team" to remove it. We didn't have admin access, we didn't control our files, and we needed someone who could actually rescue our website fast.

Our previous web designer ahad basically taken our site hotage.  The costs kept climbintg with no upfront disclosure, and then a fake "Russian cyber attack"warning started displaying to anyone who visited our site.  The previous company demanded $3000 for their "team" to remove it.  We didn't have admin access, we didn't control our files, and we needed someone who could actually rescue our website fast.  

Within a day of contacting Bay Area Web Solutions, Jason had migrated our WordPress site to a new server, recovered our locked files, reset all the passwords, and put the hosting and admin access in our name where it should have been from the start.  He now hosts and maintains our site.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We found them in desperation while searching online for someone who could help us recover from a bad web designer.  Jason picked up the phone, listened, and had a plan within the hour.  

Bay Area Web Solutions saved us $3000 in ransom fees and got our website back online almost immediately.  We've been hosted with them ever since with zero issues.  Jason is knowledgeable, fast, transparent about pricing, and  - unlike our previous designer - does not hold your website over your head.  Highly recommend for any small business that's been burned as well as if you're just starting new, you can check this one off your list of to-do's knowing your online presence is safe and well-maintained!

Absolutley!  Jason listened to what was going on (we were panicked!) and worked with us very quickly as he know how important this was to us.  He dedicated himself  to our issue and solved it immediately.   We were pretty gun-shy due to the current situation we had found ourselves in, but he was very reassuring, kept us in the loop all along the way, let us know everything that was happening and how he was correcting it, and that excellent communication continues to this day.

He's local, he's honest, and he made sure we own our own website.  After what we went through, that matters more than anything.

I can't think of a single thing I would change.  He exceeded what we hoped for.

I’m the IT director of Los Altos Christian Schools, a private, dually accredited Christian school in Los Altos offering TK through 8th-grade education focused on academic excellence, leadership, character development, and service.
