The Bang was tasked with designing and delivering a direct, transparent brand identity and user-friendly website for Embark Capital, built in Webflow. The scope included:

• Brand Development: Crafting a logo, colour palette, typography, and tone of voice to establish Embark as a progressive and innovative partner for R&D-focused companies.
• Web Design and Build: Creating a visually compelling, intuitive, and responsive website to communicate our values and services effectively to our audience.
• Content Strategy: Producing clear, customer-focused messaging that aligns with our mission and values.

The result was a cohesive and impactful digital presence that communicates our mission to empower innovative businesses.

1. Successful Capital Raise: The branding and website were instrumental in helping Embark Capital secure its first round of funding, validating the effectiveness of the project in appealing to potential investors.

The Bang approached project management with flexibility, as we didn’t set strict timelines but aimed to complete the work within a 3–6 month timeframe. They delivered everything within this period and maintained excellent communication throughout. They were highly responsive over Slack, consistently addressing our needs during and even after the project’s completion, ensuring a seamless process and an outcome that exceeded expectations.

What impressed me most was their ability to deliver something truly unique, as I had envisioned. They didn’t just accept my ideas; they challenged me, and I’m grateful for that, as it led to a more distinct and innovative outcome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Bang could have done differently?

If the project had been larger, I think it would have been more effective to use a project management tool rather than relying solely on Slack. However, they may already be using one for bigger projects; mine was on the smaller side.
