We needed a new more modern look to our website. The bandicoot team helped make that happen. We were able to sit down with the Bandicoot team and let them know what we wanted to communicate through our website. They helped us organize that and get it to a visually appealing view and custom-built our site for us.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The bandicoot team made an incredible new website for us that is not only visually appealing but also easy to navigate. The website brought our brand and company into the modern era. We are able to showcase our success and have easy ways for people to book meetings with us and interact with our content.

The Bandicoot team was great to work with. We threw a lot of challenges there way and they took them and ran with them. They were quick to respond, even if the project was something that would take a while to finish they would communicate an accurate target date for completion which helped us manage expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

My favorite part about working with Bandicoot was the willingness to explain why things were needing to be done a certain way. We are not experts in web development so really being able to hear from the experts as to why something needs to be formated a specific way or in a specific color was eye opening. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Bandicoot Marketing could have done differently?

I think one thing we wish we could have done differently is consider SEO in the website development project. We were having some sticker shock and didn't necessarily fully pay attention to what that would bring to the table.

They took a website design of ten years and converted and optimized it in WordPress. We were in a really bad situation, and they held our hand through the process and gave a 25 year old website new life.

They were the real deal for us. Bandicoot walked us through the process until we felt totally comfortable with the project. They said what they were going to do, and then did what they said. It's a process lost in today's business world.

The web design world is shady for the most part. I have run competitionplus.com for 25 years and have encountered more than my share of shady characters. I can't begin to tell you how refreshing it feels to work with a company that actually delivers on its promises. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Bandicoot Marketing could have done differently?

It's hard to go wrong when you actually take the time to understand your customer's world, and that's what they did.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Rooted Music Coaching. We hire independent contractors, so I’m the only actual employee. Our business is in six locations: four in the metropolitan Atlanta area, two outside the Georgia area, one in Texas, and one in Tennessee.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bandicoot Marketing?

We were using a different platform for our website and needed a brand-new site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bandicoot Marketing built our WordPress website back in 2021. They currently manage our pages, fix bugs, and create new pages; they’re our website provider.

We initially told them what we were looking for. We wanted a specific look and layout. We also needed customers to be able to sign up for free trial lessons.

Bandicoot Marketing has provided all that. Moreover, they constantly manage and update the website because we consistently have new team members and new opportunities and products to offer.

What is the team composition?

We mainly work with three people: Luke (Founder), Joseph (Operations Manager), and a support member. 

How did you come to work with Bandicoot Marketing?

Luke is my friend and business colleague. We started another business together, so I already knew of him and that he did great work.

How much have you invested with them?

The initial bill was $3,000. Since then, we’ve been on a monthly support plan where we pay $100 monthly to manage the site. In total, we’ve probably spent between $5,000–$6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our partnership around August 2021, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We can’t give exact numbers right now, but we’ve definitely seen an increase in site traffic. We have families checking out the website and looking at our services, and we always get excellent feedback on the site’s layout.

Moreover, Bandicoot Marketing’s quality is excellent. They do great work and are quick to respond. We usually don’t have to make any changes; once they implement something, it’s good to go.

How did Bandicoot Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

If we give them a budget, they definitely stick with it. Moreover, their timelines are reasonable; the team delivers on time.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

All three teammates have been incredible to work with. Luke is always great, but we typically interface with Joseph and the support member. Both are responsive and willing to get on the phone when needed. They also answer emails and do fixes and additions in a timely manner. Overall, they’ve done a great job.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their most impressive traits are their responsiveness and communication skills.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven’t seen anything on my end.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Follow their instruction and lead and reach out through their support line. Bandicoot Marketing is quick to respond and knowledgeable about the options. If you follow the steps and reach out, they will handle the project like a typical relationship, and you’ll be in great hands.
